Annoying but if he goes after it gives the new manager time to work with the players

I'm flabbergasted. The crowd not baying for blood yet and the manager seemingly throwing in the towel. If we were going to part amicably now was the time. I think the crowd would have turned last night if it wasnt for our 2nd goal that provided a tiny chink of light. The fans started turning on eachother, getting on the players backs etc

Fuck it, it's obvious they'd rather keep their money in their back pockets than pay him out, let him carry on, I've given up anyhow.....it's the new Brexit, will we, won't we???

The results are shit but we are not playing shit, our issues will still be here under a new manager. He has made less changes in the last 3 league games so the 1st team looks like it is starting to present itself. We are desperate for the return of Shawcross to sort out this defence, we can still get out of this mess.

Are they trying to make him resign?

Personally I don’t think they will sack him , there’s zero chance of going down , this season will be one of ironing out all the problems , NJ can’t legislate for all the mistakes the players are making , Butland and Edwards playing like schoolboys , NJ will come good and deliver

Nope. I was convinced that he would be though. I think the board have completely lost the plot. I'll be making good on my £100 donation to DLT though. 'Ooh' Gary Davies dislikes this. Ancient Radio 1 reference....like it!😎

I don't think any other owners, possibly in the world, would have made this call. Not sure whether it's very strong or incredibly weak. The only reasonable explanation is that they don’t want a repeat of the Hughes/QSF/Lambert debacle and want the new man ready and waiting to step straight in once the axe falls. Or am I giving them too much credit here and they really have lost the plot I think this will be the case.

I always thought he would be in charge for Huddersfield as there just isn’t enough time to sort anything out.....he will go to Swansea I think and if it does happen it will be in the break?
Even if he won one of them I would suggest the die is cast dependent on if they have anyone lined up?

We're approaching protest territory aren't we. Things need to get ugly, and sharpish. The problem is, i dont think alot of fans want to protest because they genuinely like Jones (me being one) but the truth is that he isn't good enough despite all of the hope etc

I get all the hysteria.
But let's suppose they haven't got the person they want, or we need lined up? What is the point of sacking the manager?
We need a very good appointment. Unless that person is ready to go then I dont see any point in changing the manager with 3 days before a big game.

no bloody way are we going to win on Tuesday, huddersfield will be up for it ,they have only got to use the same tactics that forest did last night, job done.all we are doing is delaying the inevitable,we are sinking faster than the bloody titanic.

So here’s still here on Tuesday Does he drop some of the players who let him down yesterday? Would that be too many changes again? He'll play Allen, that's nailed on

We're approaching protest territory aren't we. Things need to get ugly, and sharpish. Zero chance of that based on last nights evidence mate, full support gave way to mild disgruntlement which gave way to resigned acceptance. I fully expect to rock up in Tuesday to find a member of the board has shat on my seat. Just because they can.
