Get your tin hat on, you'll have upset the crazies on this board with posts like this In isolation it is a solid point and we looked much better, we just need to unlock that forward line more. If we build on this with a win against Crawley and 3 Pts next Friday, we're starting to look okay. Are you for real. Where in deep shit not looking ok

It was not perfect but there was some encouracing (mostly defensive) elements in our play today. Our attacking play is still rather poor but we could still have nicked it today if Etebo would have scored.

Yes, defensively poor. They obviously did their jobs on an individual level to get the clean sheet but there's still such a staggering lack of communication and organisation between them to look convincing as a unit. I was waiting for a cock up. We didn't get one, but they don't inspire confidence in me at all. Fair enough. I disagree, thought we defended well today.

He's ran out of time for me.
For how poor Brentford were 3 points should've been the bare minimum.
8 games, 2 points. Adios.

Clean sheet and good away point. Are you the type of guy who gets in from work and finds his missus shagging the neighbour and thinks “well at least he’s wearing a condom” Perhaps yes, if her previous lover didn't!

Not good enough! That's nowhere near enough of an improvement to give him praise for. Looked shaky, defensively poor, always looked like we were about to drop a clanger, and frankly we looked shit scared. Brentford were poor. NJ wasn't good enough to take the game to them. It's relegation football. Defensively poor? It was by the grace of God that Lindsay got injured or we would have lost, Batth is limited but can defend at least.

OP can't spell together. Is this Jones from the dressing room? Sorry mate, that was all I needed to see. When you took off Ince for Campbell and left clucas on and our striker alone not going for it when we had more possession. P45.

One guy floating around on his Tod up front - zero attacking cohesion - how in the name of heaven are we going to progress?

Well, Brentford away isn't going to be easy game for any team in this division. A good and well earned point! There aren't any 'easy'games though are there? It's just that other teams - most other teams - seem to find a way to win games against teams with a shit home record, who can't score goals at home.

So is Keith Hill at Bolton, he’s had 2 games, had no players, no pre season, no money, no board, no support and achieved 1 less point that NJ.

If this would be the Stoke at it's best it would be very worrying, instead I hope this was just a start of something better. That's why I'm so delighted for the clean sheet... thats something at least!

First half was absolutely terrible. But 2nd was much more positive. If Etebo had shot... We win the game. Let's not forget Brentford have been very solid and don't concede many. Good (Ish) away performance and we should and deserved to win on the whole. The players are clearly behind Jones, Badou surprised me again, he was very good bar a few wayward passes. Next week he simply has to get the team right. Badou Etebo in the middle is 100% the way forward now. Ince needs to come out, totally ineffective in that position. I'd go Duffy or have Campbell on with Super Jon Walters.. I mean Gregory. Gregory is more like Andy Cooke than Walters

Clean sheet and good away point. I agree about the isolated result, but overall it's not close to good enough. GET RID NOW! Hughton in!!!

Only the blind believe what they cannot see. All I've seen today is fate actually intervene and gifted us an unexpected point. Allen's suspension and Lindsay's freak accident in the match put in better players. The manager didn't get that together. Perhaps his God or luck did?

How easily pleased are Stoke? We haven't got beaten because they are struggling to score as well. If this is the limit of our ambition we should have kept Lambert! The squad might not be great, but Jones isn't playing to the few strengths we have. I would get Hughton in while we still can.
We won't, though.

I like Jones but the table doesn't lie. 2 out of 24 points is disastrous. Be nice if he would resign but can't blame him hanging on for his pay off.

Not seen any of the game today however Brentford away is a tough place to go. From the bits I listened to we put a tremendous shift in and showed a good togetherness. Possibly could have pinched it late on as well.
It sounded as if as a team we were solid which I’m happy with more than anything. To limit Brentford to virtually nothing is a decent performance in my eyes.
Onwards and upwards. Come on stoke.

Looked solid overall. I never really expected Brentford to score - perhaps not that surprising as they're the lowest scorers in the league.
Drab game though, and we were bloody awful going forward. Sad to see us reduced to that.
A point there is never a bad result though.
