I dont think you'd get anywhere near enough support for a large scale protest yet. I think there are a hell of alot of Stoke fans who still like Jones. At the end of the match at Birmingham there were a handfull of fans trying to get a Jones out chant going. They were quicky shouted down and told to shut up by the vast majority of fans. I myself still can't bring myself to say i want Jones out. He's such a nice guy. I love his passion and commitment to the club. Everytime he talks he talks a bloody good game. Yes i know he needs to deliver on that fast. We can't be patient with him for much longer. But i don't want to hear the news that he's been sacked during the international break. I want more than anything for him to turn things around. I don't want to go back to another dull and boring Hughes or Rowett type of manager. I want a passionate bloke like Jones who isn't affraid to say it like it is. He talks shite. What the fucking hell is wrong with people. I often wonder it myself. The oatcake jones out snowball effect in full steam atm, must be at least 50 different posters out of 25'000 stoke fans shouting for Jones's head

His passion and commitment to the club is a minimum requirement of the job. He talks he talks a bloody good game? If his results matched his soundbites he'd be Guardiola. Talk is cheap.

He talks shite. What the fucking hell is wrong with people. I often wonder it myself. The oatcake snowball effect in full steam atm I have no idea what you're on about as usual. Nothing he has said has matched up to what he has done. He doesn't talk well or say it like it is. He has no solutions to any problems. I don't know what you are seeing in him or even if you are indeed still supporting Jones but I really can't be arsed to argue with you today.

Polls on social media say its about 50/50 on Jones I imagine quite a few have been tipped the other way by the Verlinden knews. That's certainly what I've seen when I've had a look on there. I was only referring to the point the poster I was replying to you about "him talking a good game". He doesn't talk well he is the king of stating the bloody obvious and blaming everyone else. If you want to make a case for him at least do it based on what you're seeing rather than just what he's saying given he's not doing anything he's saying or doing the opposite.

I've made my case for him, wholesale changes to the squad in the summer. Not just that either, the guy has taken over a 'defeated' & 'broken' club. He's a football manager not a miracle worker, some things take time to implement. Normal rules don't apply to fixing this basket case of a club, its not a quick fix. This is rowett all over again, how long does the next man get, 3 month?

Jones has had 8 months 2 transfer windows and a full pre season to produce 3 league wins in 26 games !, how much longer do you suggest we let him stumble along for before finally falling flat on his fucking face.

This is rowett all over again, how long does the next man get, 3 month? And I've explained a thousand times I don't agree that it's 3 months, it's 8 and a preseason and 11 players. I don't think anyone can be considered a good manager who can't get something out of the players they have. I completely disagree that we were full of bad eggs and broken - there were about 3 or 4 twats when we were relegated- it doesn't explain everything 2 years later. We've had about 30 players and he can't do anything with them even the ones he's bought. If there were any signs of improvement I'd understand but I don't see them. We've got worse since he took over. The changes have been crackers. The formations have been crackers. His recruitment didn't add anything to our squad because they weren't better than what we have - that's not to say they are bad players but really what was the fucking point? And you can't say he was hamstrung by finances because the likes of Sawyers and Ayaji went to WB for about Β£5m combined.

You can't keep sacking managers.
Well they sacked Hughes Well they sacked Lambert Well they sacked Rowett
Now we have the biggest fucking goon of the lot, and apparently we can't sack him.

He's talked a bloody good game 26 times in the League and won 3 of them. The only thing he seems passionate about to me is his own ability.
