Looks like no official statement from the Club. Worst start to a season since forever. Consistently dismal performances. Poor decision making on a weekly basis.(Verlinden the last straw for me!)
What are the choices?
I can think of 3
a) Moan on the Oatcake and pub (if you can still afford to go to one!)
b) Support the manager/club whatever happens and wish for the best
c) Protest at the next game....begs the question, what form this takes?
Any other choice?
So....What are we going for?

D) Have a nice weekend next weekend away from footy with my other half and ignore/try to forget Stoke City's existence until 14th September
(On the 14th I will revert to B)

The scary thing is, not only are we really shit, we are really shit and having awful luck too. This will only lead to one outcome.

Based on what we have seen so far this season 2 would actively damage the club, I hate 3 because it isn't going to help the player's confidence but we need action soon because we're on a slippery slope and the board seem to have learnt nothing from how long it took them to fuck off Hughes.

Carry on regardless and prepare for life in the 3rd division happy clapping our way into oblivion, in Nathan we trust, god willing, on a wing (no pun intended) and a prayer, blindly following a blind man over the edge of a cliff.

The only way to stop bad luck is to stop being shit. You know you are really fucked when your manager starts blaming bad luck for the current predicament. Oh wait...

Can we stage a coup? Seems to be all the rage these days?
Or demand a Fan's Vote? You're allowed to do that now when you don't like a decision?

Personally, I think we need to stick together come what may at the moment. Whoever plays in red and white has to be supported as does the manager.
We really aren’t getting the rub of the green and we have played better than the results show... we really need to do our bit... the atmosphere is shit at the moment so how do you you think the players feel playing in front of us lot? pretty shit too, so its up to us to help out from the stands.

I support the players. I won't support the manager. I don't even see how you can reconcile the two after things like what happened today with Verlinden being shipped off to fucking Bolton which is like the equivalent of being deported to Australia in 1890.

Going to run on and score are you? This lot including Jones have been admirably supported at all away games and have been crap- that includes Charlton due to crap defending; you don’t lose 3-1 and think you were the best team unless you’re as delusional as St. Nathan. There was no booing until the very end against QPR and Leeds, where again we were shit. I really don’t care about the feelings of these poor footballers- it’s about time they earned their corn with some commitment instead of thinking poor old me!

I don't want to be the fans that protest but we need to make our feelings known That's it hound him out, then when moyes signs you can call him 'dave' and say things to make yourselves feel better like ' "let's give 'Dave' as long as it takes because he has inherited a shit tip" ... " what a lovely bloke" & stuff.😁 Make sure you play the poster & college boys though 'Dave', oh and win the league by Christmas or you'll soon be toppled

I dont think you'd get anywhere near enough support for a large scale protest yet. I think there are a hell of alot of Stoke fans who still like Jones. At the end of the match at Birmingham there were a handfull of fans trying to get a Jones out chant going. They were quicky shouted down and told to shut up by the vast majority of fans. I myself still can't bring myself to say i want Jones out. He's such a nice guy. I love his passion and commitment to the club. Everytime he talks he talks a bloody good game. Yes i know he needs to deliver on that fast. We can't be patient with him for much longer. But i don't want to hear the news that he's been sacked during the international break. I want more than anything for him to turn things around. I don't want to go back to another dull and boring Hughes or Rowett type of manager. I want a passionate bloke like Jones who isn't affraid to say it like it is.
