Looks like they are in a worse position than Bury Administrators saying the club cannot continue and could fold within 24 hours Three 5 0 defeats in a row and the lowest crowd ever at the Reebok on Saturday All very sad

Absolutely horrible situation to be in. My heart goes out to the fans of Bury and Bolton, no fan should have to go through it. Football is going to shit isn't it.

Considering all the criticism that Coates gets, some people need to realise how lucky we are. This is what can happen when a club is REALLY badly run.

In the meantime the head of the FA has L S Lowrys "going to the match." current value 3.5 mill+ depicting a match at Bolton (old Burnden park.) behind his desk to show how much he cares about football.

If Bolton do go to the wall they'd be the biggest club to do so wouldn't they ? Yes by a long way. Numerous years in the PL. playing in Europe not long ago A very quick fall from grace

There but for......... Yet there are posters on here slagging off our owners, instead of counting their blessings having one of the richest owners who are actual fans and not foreign investors.

Would you be saying the same if they precede to make a complete hash of this season and we end up in League One? Their money means nothing in that league when we're away at Wycombe on a Wednesday night and they are shithousing the ball up to that wrestler....and beating us.

Very sad for Bolton but I think they are possibly the first of many. All the money is at the top table now leaving slim pickings for the lower leagues. Post the next recession I can genuinely see the bottom two divisions going semi pro.

The game is fucked.
Berahino, Wimmer etc milk millions while sitting on their arses or pissing it up the wall.
Top clubs pay hundreds of thousands a week to reserve team players.
While clubs like Bury and Bolton collapse into oblivion.
Grim.

Tbf Bolton were on that gravy train only 6 years ago....they probably weren’t interested in Goole Town etc going into oblivion It’s all tragic

When this happens to stoke will we still blame the manager? No, that's just for things like winning 3 games in 26, which is the responsibility of the manager, Brainiac
