24:00-27ish
Seems to be conveying a message a few players have said.
However I still remember Pennants last game for us vs everton.
That game I swear he deliberately went out there to get sent off, cant remember the result but remember he fkd us at the end from memory with a stupid challenge.
Soured any good will I had for him

Soured any good will I had for him Yes we drew 1-1 after conceding an injury time penalty. If I remember correctly, Pennant had made a wild lunge in the box and gotten away with it before inexplicably doing it again moments later. It was one of the dumbest, most infuriating cameos I’ve ever seen. It was so bizarre I said at the time that it felt very “off”.

From the time he got on he seemed to be trying to piss Stoke off. I'm not sure if he had expressed a desire to leave around that time but he seemed keen to make anyone at the club ready to boot him out.

Hilariously bad cameo. Weird player, all the talent but absolutely no sense whatsoever.

We revived his career and don't really think he can criticise anyone. He was excellent for that short spell then went back to his former, stupid self. I know he didn't have a very nice upbringing but if ever there was a footballer lacking something between the ears then it was this fella. Shame as he had talent

Was unbelievable for a while under Pulis. Always managed to get his cross in, set pieces were dangerous, a true class act. I for one will remember him for that, rather than the Everton game.

Was Ryan Shotton here under Hughes? Bit disrespectful to a fellow player! Not a bad egg but brags about being pissed up the night before a game, at Arsenal, for his debut, as he didn't think he'd be playing. But it's Ok Pennant says he's not a bad egg despite all the evidence pointing otherwise. He's just a self promoting wannabe media whore!

He was an integral part of our journey to the one and only FA Cup Final Stoke City has experienced in its history, played a key role in one of the best Stoke performances of all time at Wembley in the Semi-final v. Bolton and one of the best crossers of the ball Ive ever seen at Stoke in 50 years, but eh fuck that!

I wouldn't hear a bad word said about anybody from the XI that took to the field against Man City in the Cup Final. That remains that best Stoke XI in my lifetime, regardless of whatever happened to the players afterwards. I include Pennant, Jones and Wilson in that just as much as Shawcross, Delap and Sorensen. I've seen today he's on the new series of 'Celebs go dating'... with a Mrs, I'm not sure how that's supposed to work anything for a pay day though I suppose.

Ive not seen the video attached yet but I have to say he was fantastic for us under TP, the year that we reached the FA cup final both him and etherington were superb.

very good player when he could be arsed. Sadly I think he got caught up in his own hype, and is still in that zone by the looks.

Fantastic for a brief spell in spring 2011 when we probably played our best football of the last 30 years but also a complete quim who did when he always does and pissed it all away.

Despite it all he played a big part in our FA Cup final season. When it was over it really was over but it wasn't all bad.

IF Hughes did treat him that way then I've lost some respect for LMH, I'm always of the opinion that you take people how you find them. Some will always dislike regardless based on what they heard I'm not and it's a poor way to operate in life.

I can't believe the posters on here honestly.
His career is nothing but a train wreck, Berahino but with skill.
Thats the only difference.
Yes he was a good player but fk me look how he acts and carries himself.
Some of you really dont remember just how bad that everton cameo was. But he gets a free pass because hes a little bit of a maverick ay

In fact he played his part in some great times. It wasn't all bad.

He tore Arsenal apart when we beat them 3-1, Finished with our most assists In the same season. One very bad game doesn’t mean that his time here was a complete failure. Walters managed to score two own goals and missed a penalty, does that mean we should slate him too?
