Needs to be sent straight back out on loan again.
He's not even league Two standard.

Needs to be sent straight back out on loan again. He's not even league Two standard. He only needs to know the difference between his right and left leg to be an improvement on Ward, who ranks amongst the very worst left backs Ive ever seen at Stoke. Ward or Lindsay (I mean Alec)? Toss up.

It certainly sounds as if O'Neill is planning with Tymon in the coming half season. I think that's partially good news, as Tymon might just come good. But it's not good news if O'Neill then doesn't make signing a new left back a priority.

The club and the manager still think these players are good enough The fan base came to their conclusion on that one some time ago.

Not ideal on previous showings but definitely an improvement on Ward so I am ok with it.

Toss up. I remember Alec Lindsay very well. He was ancient when we signed him, similarity? At least he was a proper left back, trained Geoff Scott? Lol

The club and the manager still think these players are good enough The fan base came to their conclusion on that one some time ago. The fan has been known to draw wrong conclusions some time. His last "chance" was 9 months ago. It lasted 43 minutes, when he, like many before and after, was totally confused about what it was Nathan Jones wanted from a left back. It might just be possible that Tymon has matured while living in another country. He played "just five games", so some conclude that is proof that he was no good, while others deduct that standing in for a top player was never going to mean that he would ever present. What he can do or can't do only time can tell.

MON bemoaning the fact we're a bit hamstrung in January due to the number of players we have and then brings back another to fill the bloated squad of bloaters.

Understand your comment about a bloated squad, far too many players at the club but at least his position is one where we are woeful and needed addressing as a priority.

He's had chances. He wouldn't get into the Crewe Alex team. They have 2 fullbacks both better than Tymon. When a player returns from loan and when he has a new manager he's got his slate wiped clean. He's our player for several more years, so let's teach him how to make even fickle fans happy.

He's had one and a half games for Stoke since relegation. Yes he was not good in those matches but that, time anyway, doesn't constitute 'having your chance'.

Would be good if somebody invested the time in him to teach him positioning. He seemed pretty good going forward but he was a bit toss at defending.

If he plays we need get behind him not slate him, the position we are in is not down to him so whoever is brought in needs us to get behind them and give them encouragement, it worked with Wilko he thrived off it.

That should work. It's not like he'll be coming into an atmosphere more toxic than Chernobyl anyway. Let's make it worse.
