Ok. Well one right signing then, as it seems they are making. We thought we were though last season, our pre season is going well so who’s to say we haven’t?....I’ll bet West Brom and Fulham fans wished they’d got Nick Powell Let’s wait and see eh I’m happy we’ve got Powell and I’m happy at how pre season etc has gone. I just feel that with Mitrovic and Knockheart, as well as retaining most of the team that was so good in the Championship last time they might have too much fire power for us. I think a Gayle like transfer would be massive

It’s about the right signings not the big ones Ok. Well one right signing then, as it seems they are making. They’ve lost 30+ goals from last years team but are overloading on midfielders. Oh but they have signed a striker who’s record is so good he was surplus to requirements at relegated Cardiff. This place would be awash with piss if we were doing that.

West Brom also released sawyers a few years ago and he signed for Walsall where he became a bit of a joke figure before he signed for Brentford ....just imagine this place if we’d done that and then bid £3m a few years later Would I love Sawyers to sign for us...hell yeah but I’m also happy with how it’s going so far Let’s wait and see

Fulham and West Brom building really good squads. Praying we get one big signing over the line or I think we will struggle to keep up with them. West Brom's squad probably taken the biggest hammering so far also

You do have to say, that if West Brum get both RS & SA for the money in, or around the ball park mentioned, that is absolutely cracking buisness.
It also ups the ante considerably on our two 'difficult' ones for me.
If you believe 'we must have taken a pass' on these two then the incoming difficult pair must be very, very worth waiting for.
Plus, you clearly have a lot more faith in the pizza club personnel than I do.

To be fair is well over 50 if you include Harvey Barnes who was excellent for them. Some goals to replace

Sawyer's has eight clubs interested in him. Celtic and seven Championship clubs including Stoke. Brentford asking for £2.5m
Was told this Saturday morning
Don't know anymore than that.

If he is first on the list as Allen/Etebo replacement, wonder if that might force a pre-emptive move from us? (if Allen/Etebo are looking precarious) Although he may well prefer WBA (pretty sure he's a WBA fan?) If he is a wba fan we had may aswell forget it. I guess it's no different than you or me, who would we play for if the team you support tried to sign you? WBA or stoke? I'd imagine the wages would be around the same, it's a no brainer if hes a wba fan, surely

I am thinking if Stoke wanted either of these two we would be all over it earlier in the window so really hope the two signings he keeps mentioning are still a strong possibility....only a couple of weeks and we will know? Gayle will be a last minute thing if it happens I think. We will wait until NUFC drop their asking price and thats only "If" they have a replacement lined up

Dont know but have they got the money to buy him? I'd imagine the amount Ashley gives him GK will be low on his priorities list. We wouldn't be willing to swap butland for gayle, surely?

Ajayi and this lad for under 5m is something we should’ve been on. I suppose it depends what sort of role WBA are offering and if they want to come, disappointing if they get both though.
