I dont think weve won from behind in about 3 years but the liverpool game got me thinking of memorable stoke comebacks. Winning from behind against Villa the day pulis' mum died was a very emotional game and will always stick in the memory. Both games against scunthorpe in the promotion season as well

PNE away Brian Little season Dean crowe winner 3-4. Was only young but remember my dad, me and my uncle having a cracking mental. We had an army of fans that day too.

Don’t forget the FA cup quarter final vs Hull away 6th March 1971. 2-0 down then a Conroy goal on half time sparked a dramatic turn round in second half with Big John scoring 2 to win the game. The winner was late in the game. Anybody else go to this game

Sept '93 Portsmouth 3-3 Stoke City. Came back from 3-1 down, think Beeston or Ware (maybe wrong with the scorer.) scored a good goal from outside the box to make it 3-3. Nearly 26 years ago, bloody hell.

I was at that game, rammed in to a corner as we were, we made some phenomenal noise though, a real away day classic in so many ways, the kind you just don't get anymore.

Coming back from 2-0 down against Huddersfield (in part thanks to a world class own goal from doddering Nigel Worthington) to win 3-2 with a lesser spotter John Gayle goal and two great poachers' strikes from Sheron.
Last season at the Brit, Gerry McMahon's debut (or home debut at least I think?) and he looked like an absolute class act...

The winner was late in the game. Anybody else go to this game Yes. One of the all-time great awaydays. It's on Youtube and the slightly grainy footage and Keith Macklin commentary have been posted on here a few times. 40,000 at Boothferry Park. 10,000 Stokies. To give some idea of how football has changed, the players were on our train on the way back - getting trolleyed. . Just how quickly can 48 years pass..? Very.

I was at that game, rammed in to a corner as we were, we made some phenomenal noise though, a real away day classic in so many ways, the kind you just don't get anymore. No you don't. We were in with the Pompies that day, having had a glass or two of foaming ale in the Nell Gwynn. I know it's been done to death, but contenders for top 10 awaydays for me include, in no particular order: - Hull 1971 (see above) - Blackpool 1970. About 5,000 Stokies wearing boaters, belting out "When You're Smiling" - Brighton relegation party - Bolton FA Cup 3rd round 1973. For younger viewers, some people thought a Sunday kick off might lead to plagues of locusts and the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse - Mansfield 1977 (mainly because a friend and I hitched from Lloret de Mar to see it) - Birmingham 1974/75 to go top (let's draw a veil over the infamous 92 (?) game) - Notts County 1979. (Memorable also for my then squeeze throwing a cup of hot coffee over me, that evening, for sulking at missing the post promotion jollities) - Rotherham promotion year - the apotheosis of the Stein career for me. That shot was coming right for my head - Preston 1978/79. A couple of my easily-led friends decided to join a rebel group in the home end. The group was led around the pitch after a minor skirmish. My dad turn to me and said: "Isn't that X?" "Hmmm...", I replied. "Yes dad, they DO look rather similar don't they". However, absolute number one was Derby 1975. It's often youtubed on here. People were arriving in Derby on service trains from very early morning. We must have had about 12,000 that day. I honestly thought we would win the League. Of course I was young and foolish.

Stoke would have gone 4-0 up last night then drawn 4-4 And then lost 5-0 on penalties. Actually, I think we would have gone 4-0 down. And lost 8-0.

Wigan away. Greg Strong last minute winner.., That was the Brian Little season aswell wasn't it mate? Kav solo wonder goal? That's the one mate. I actually left the ground in a huff when we went 2-0 down, then came back with my dick between my legs after we pulled one back as I realised one of my mates had the car keys. Got back just in time for Kav's equaliser.....

All of the above are worthy contenders, but the prize has to go to the league game on 20th November 2004 when we fought back from being battered by the giants of the division and grabbed a scintillating 0-0 draw with Plymouth Argyle.

Stoke v Wolves. Season 74/75.
Two nil down with less than five mins to go. Drew 2-2 with TC and........ Ecca Skeels scoring!
That point sent us top of the league for the second time that season 😊

The PNE one in 98 stands out for me. Absolutely awful for an hour and deservedly 2-0 then 3-1 down. Then up stepped Kav and Dean Crowe to snatch it for us. Came away thinking we were going to walk that league....what a shocker that season turned out yo be
