It'll be interesting to see if they announce them as a three - or space them out? Wonโt be till July 1st as they not technically free transfers till then. Be interesting to see if they report for pre season before It's fairly standard practice to announce them on pre-contracts, though, isn't it? I've never known us to make a point of waiting until July 1st before?

None of us know why there are no announcements

The mere suggestion they wonโt be here for preseason because of contracts/money is one that seems ludicrous.

If you say it is ludicrous, what do you KNOW that makes you think that way? Because itโs bullshit. If that happens then the people that run the club need a massive kick up the arse because theyโre undermining the manager with their cheapness or uselessness. Thankfully I expect them all to be there for preseason because there is absolutely no reason for them not to be bar that they arenโt actually joining us.

A hard working striker who also scores 10+ goals every season! Have a closer look, Benik Afobe!

"He ticks a lot of boxes for us - one I've been aware of for a long, long time"
"His manager at Millwall, Neil Harris, is a good friend of mine and he's really, really rated him for a number of years"
"So I've kept an eye on him and he's one who's different to what we have. He's had a different pathway to the pro game so had real hunger and desire"
He had a lot of options after he left Millwall, but he had a real desire to come here and sign for us. I like hungry players with a point to prove. He'll work very hard and graft - but technically he's very good, better than what he gets credit for and scored 14 last year. So we want that kind of return and more. We want to be at the right end of the table so if we have strikers who are firing for us, that's going to be key and he's one I'm really excited to work with"

To be fair Pugs, I suppose Sheffield United fans said the same about David McGoldrick and Norwich fans the same about Pukki. It's weird but we'll see... His record in the past couple of years is similar to McGoldrick at Ipswich. First time I saw dear McGoldrick I seriously thought he had club feet. It's something about those football boots, or the way he moves. Is it the same with Gregory?

Another good interview. No messing about. What do you want this season?
Progression, Promotion. The manager wants it and the squad want it.

Down to earth bloke by the sounds of it. I hope Stoke's production team drop the flicking between two camera angle shots during the videos, like the Powell one it is annoying and distracting.

It's everything you want to hear really isn't it? Manager knows what he wants, hard working, gives 100%, manager only bringing in good group of people, wants progression.
I feel this team when finished will be very united with the fans due to their work ethic.

Comes across well, but what a crap question halfway through. "Do you feel like this is the chance you deserve"? What, moving from a Championship club to a Championship club? He gave the right answer.

But not as irritating as when they do it on TV on actual football action. When they do a look back at match highlights and they show a cross going in from one angle then just as your eyes are watching for the header coming in, they suddenly switch to a behind the goal angle. It really grinds my gears. There was a 1966 World Cup documentary where they did that on every goal. Alongside the dull and deadpan commentary of the narrator it made the documentary one of the most joyless and irritating pieces of TV I've ever seen. A strange rant, I know. But sometimes you have to let these pent up frustrations out when the opportunity arises. Soz. ๐

It's as if the producer thinks: "Because I CAN do the fancy cutting, I MUST do it. And everyone will think it is clever". Quite possibly a producer that's never been to a match. But has watched lots of French new wave cinema. A first world problem, as you suggest. But unhealthy to keep it bottled up. Good work.
