Quite a few of their fans on the last train out of london today. Clearly overjoyed with promotion. Lots of singing without much swearing which was unusual. One was discussing season ticket prices next season. Says he expects it to go up from the current price of £100!!! £100 must have been steal of the season last season given their rapid rise.

Port Vale v Salford in a football league fixture 😁 Don't quite get the humour in that mate? You could actually use Bradford v Salford as a better example? Give me Vale any day of the week over these pathetic Forest Green and Salford etc. Some clubs such as Stevenage, Morecambe and Crawley have actually not progressed fan wise. Morecambe struggle to get 1000 some weeks. Football all about opinion my opinion is it is being diluted by crap like this. Conference, division 5 whatever it is now has Notts County, Chesterfield, Wrexham, Stockport while pompous gits like Giggs waltzes around Wembley. Because we're Stoke fans and the first port of call when you're taking the piss out of somebody is usually the Vale.

I usually see Salford City at home 2 or 3 times a season.
It’s a good day out and it doesn’t break the bank.
Good luck to them!

I don't know if promotion odds are available yet but Salford will be favourites to either win League 2 or at least go up. You are a bookies wet dream, they only just managed to go up from the conference despite all their advantage. Div 2 will be a whole lot different

When the bookies first show comes out Salford will be right up there at the top of the market.

I see that PR seeking prick Beckham had to impose himself on the event. Suddenly made the whole thing seem much more manufactured him being involved. His interest in the club is as real as his wife's tits.....

Second year running that Fylde failed in the play-offs - maybe third time lucky next season when there are no big money, celebrity-based clubs involved.

It's good to see new clubs in the league- Forest Green, Accrington, AFC Wimbledon, Burton and Fleetwood have all made progress to varying degrees and it beats seeing the same teams such as Torquay and Darlo struggling at the bottom of the league every year. It's hardly their fault Wrexham and Stockport haven't got their act together. I reckon we'll see Hereford back to at least Vanarama Premier level within the next few years too.

Fylde are a very big money side at Conference level. They've had huge investment. They were basically a pub team who won the West Lancashire League in 2008. That's Step 11!!!. They've gone Step 11 to Step 1 in just over 10 years. The guy who took them over had planned to invest in Blackpool with a plan to get them to the Premiership but the Oysten's turned his money down. He's a bit of a dodgy geezer, behind a lot of the fracking projects in Lancashire

Div 2 will be a whole lot different You’d think that both Plymouth Argyle and Bradford City should be way ahead of Salford in the odds not to mention Orient who actually won their league. BM

BM You would think that, but I'm guessing momentum as well as money has to play a part. Salford, whilst bankrolled by the class of 92 have had 5 years of success following success. Money certainly helps, but it's no guarantee either, whereas morale at Plymouth and Bradford is probably at rock-bottom, they will have to cut their cloth accordingly too.

BM Plymouth maybe. Bradford no chance. Bookies will factor in the connections of Salford and their money. Chance to make hay at bigger odds if you fancy some other team.

They are not my cup of tea, However, as a player they maybe a good thing. They signed Danny Whitehead from Macclesfield. His wages went from £400 a week to £ 3000 a week. I am certain they have increased the income of many lower / Scottish league players

So, do you believe then that all NATO armed forces, retired, or otherwise and given their requirement to use weapons such as cluster bombs, are 'dodgy geezers'? I think your moral compass points to fantasy rather than the (admittedly sad) realism of life today.
