It makes you wonder why two different managers with two different footballing philosophies have said similar? Personally, I think the bigger issue is why a manager feels he is under this much pressure already. The booing at the end was disgraceful. I’m not sure he is under pressure to be honest. I think generally most fans realise he’ll need time and are on his side. He has to suck the mop for today though because it was as much his fault as anyone’s. The fans turned today mate and it wasn't one or two. He made a beeline for the Boothen End to show his appreciation and was given the shortest of shrifts. I agree he needs to take his share of it but he didn't deserve that reception one bit. It was bang out of order.

So he’s getting as pissed off with the fans as the other managers and players are. The biggest problem with this club is the fans

He was spot on about the players but the ‘fans’ favourite’ thing was weird and he was full of his excuses for his own role in things. He was every bit as responsible as they were. He mentions in there how the players haven't kept the structure. He alludes to the lack of work ethic, the long-running issues with this squad which were only exacerbated by Gary Rowett. He is brutally honest that it isn't possible to get a 2-0 performance out of this group. I think he's right here -no one could get much out of this group. Then on the other hand his selections this last couple of games have been disappointing. However, i feel; having read the interview, encouraged that he feels the same way I do about this group of players. I believe there will finally be a big turnover in the summer. We can all only cling on to that hope, and let him get on with it. What happened to the good group working well etc ?

His stupid team selections, his awful subs, his poor game management today. I think he’ll get it right in the end but I couldn’t see his thinking today at all.

Did Bojan even play badly? Not for me he didnt. He never does for some people. He was no worse than anyone else though, so why single him out. Sounds desperate to me.

It was bang out of order. I don’t think they turned mate. To me ‘turning’ means there’s no way back, a la the Rowett situation. Today I just saw booing of a shit performance, and whether we like it or not that’s happened under a lot of managers, even popular ones.

Did you think he got things right today or Tuesday, he's had nearly four fcuking months we have won three games and are not progressing one jot, would you trust him to get this right next season, shocking management again today from start to finish, the boos are back and he is slagging off individual players what next the fans Oh no, not the fans, won’t somebody think of the fans? They shouldn’t be untouchable. I don’t know if he’ll get it right or not but I don’t agree we’ve made not one jot of progress even with backwards steps in the last couple of games and unlike you I’m prepared to be patient and wait and see. Like we did with Hughes , he is clearly floundering as was Hughes we left one in charge far too long are we about to repeat the same mistake ?

Jones has been and is being the recipient of more supporter ‘patience’ than anyone I can remember. He can have no complaints at all.

Jones hasn’t had the chance yet to build his team. We can’t keep sacking managers.

Putting Verlindan and Adam on at 86 mins was a piss take. Personally I would have refused to come on. He keeps spouting shit about youth then does the opposite!!!

Hughes, Lambert, Rowett & Jones are all wankers, if they'd just picked Bojan in every position, made him captain & manager, then everything would be fine.

Why are all our managers so arrogant? The response that we’re looking for is an understanding that a team with the biggest budget should be beating a team with the smallest and that performance wasn’t good enough. He can say he’s got a difficult job without hurting the players feelings but he has to communicate that the result and performance was unacceptable otherwise he’s saying it’s all ok.
We were bullied today and the stats show it.
We will be going into next season without Butland and Allen and if you apply today’s performance with that it’s fucking terrifying.

How are people comparing that interview to Rowett's idiotic comments? It's nowhere near. Give the guy a chance.

For the first time in my life I’m actively begging for the season to end, I can’t wait, it’s going to be like releasing a monster shit after being cripplingly constipated.

I might "clamour" for Saido Berahino for 90 minutes just to test out Nathan Jones' threat. I genuinely believe Saido is our best striker.
