I think he’s got potential to be a Leon Cort signing.
Never going to win you a league but solid and handy in both boxes.
He also does a lot of Ryan’s work for him.
He seems much wiser than a 28 year old. Got the brain of Taggart, doesn’t need to be that quick because he’s always reading a step ahead.
I like him.

Always thought Cort was a disaster in his own box to be honest. Baath looks good so far. Not great on the ball but very solid defensively.

He’s a much better defender than Cort. Exudes the kind of calm authority we’ve been missing.

He wasn’t particularly handy in the opposition box yesterday He's wasting his time and energy going up for corners, he hasn't a clue where the goal is, but a good signing nevertheless who has tightened defence.

I’d say like the last 10 years or so. Looking better now since he’s got the best partnership going since Huth left. Wollscheid, Zouma, Williams never really suited him imo. Zouma wasn’t ready for Premier last season, not sure he is now.
Hope these 2 are out central defence next season. Shawcross on decline, maybe, but still very good at Championship level.

To be fair if he was consistent he wouldn’t have been dropped, and we wouldn’t have conceded a fuck ton of goals

Bart has been the signing of the season for me, especially as I wasn't expecting him to be anywhere near as good as he is. He's on his own a real good player, but he's also seemingly getting the best out of Ryan too.
Fingers crossed we can get similar impact signings in the forward positions

Doesn't seem like he's gonna be as lethal as Cort in the opposition's area any time soon......
But, yeah.....so far, so good!!! 👍🏼
Also think he should be handed the captain's armband permanently, whether Shawcross plays or not!!!

Ryan consistent? Since when? Since being paired with Batth Ryan looks so much better with a competent centre half that he trusts along side him. We have a good partnership being built.

Very good signing. Easily good enough for a team at the top of this league is Danny.
Makes you realise - we perhaps didn't need to spend 50m in the summer to get a decent team together.

The money we spent should guarantee a play off place at least. But when you consider we spent 30 million quid on ince, mcclean, and afobe, well that must be the worst transfer window ever, even beating the kevin wimmer window. Rowett should be banned from coming anywhere near this club ever again

His surname baffles me. How is it pronounced? I’m with you on that ....does is start as Baa...like a sheep then finish with ‘th’ Sound .....or is it Bath with an extra ‘t’ maybe even a silent extra ‘t’ ...or Is it “ Bart” with the extra ‘t’ giving an ‘r’’ sound and the ‘h’ silent ?....or is it just a typo?

I wasn’t expecting his middle name to be Tanveer. He’s of Sikh Punjabi descent. Tanveer is popular in those parts, like Keith or Gary in the UK.....

Whatever the reason, I'm just mightily relieved that I no longer pap my pants everytime the opposition get the ball within 80 metres of our goal.

Cort is a dreadful comparison but I see what you're getting at. Ryan has always excelled when there's a natural leader next to him. I don't see any reason why Bath shouldn't be captain next season to shephard in the new era.
