I actually thought Diouf was marginally more effective than Afobe after he went off. We just look so weak on the ball, as someone said Ince looked like a little boy against men. Very impressed with Edwards. Bright light at the moment..God I pray Vokes is fit Saturday!!!

Jesus it’s a decent point , the bloke is showing some leadership and willingness to stand up and be counted , he was also missing 30% of his first choice starters , he had to get the house stable , people are simply taking out years of frustration on a bloke just starting the job of putting it right , if you want to have a go look in the stands not th3 dug out , he certainly didn’t spend £190m getting us relegated and gibe Wimmer snd co juicy contracts etc. It really is not a decent point Points do not matter now where we are His subs prove nothing That is the main point You don’t think a point away at Derby is decent? Based on whatbwe’ve Seen this season, it’s more than decent. I appreciate the football was absolute dross, but let’s not pretend they haven’t been head and shoulders above us this season. Not very often I agree with Biscuit, but he’s actually talking some sense for once. There’s not a chance in hell we’ll see NJ’s diamond formation work with the current squad, and he know that. He’s at least brought a bit of solidity back and we’re becoming hard to beat - which is a massive step in the right direction. Given the response to a draw away at Derby, I can kind of understand why he’s not throwing kids into the mix. God only knows what the reaction would be if we lost. He’s probably doing them a favor keeping them well clear right now, since we don’t seem to have any patience and would be writing them off after a 10 minute cameo.

Lots of fans bemoaning the complete lack of forward play. Going by Jones post match comments he agrees. He's been here five minutes. His Luton team was transformed, after a window or two, into a goal scoring machine. Conclusion: We know this isn't how he wants to play, wait till next season.

No attacking intent whatsoever which I just can’t get my head around. Lampard on Radio Derby afterwards reckons that’s the best they’ve played for 2 months🤔 Far too many passengers again and only the back 4 and the keeper can hold their heads up.

Hart's press conference was telling yesterday. Youngsters will get a chance but they are not going to be throwing results away between now and the end of the season, and rightly so.
I want us to go into next season with as few losses as possible. Not losing matches is a great habit to get into, it inspires a resilience and togetherness that got us promoted on more than one occasion.

Not knocking NJ of calling for his head, but Jebus, why so negative with the subs?
Like I said last week, and the week before, and the week before, there’s fuck all to play for - why play to hold on to a point?!?
Play some kids / attacking / positive subs and give it a run.
Our hopes are already in the toilet, why stamp on them?!?...

Dreadful really. I don’t get many games now and just passing Spondon on the rattler to Nottingham. Paid Five pound twenty for a Peroni in this ‘swanky’ bar outside the train station waiting for the 22.59. But as a Lanzarote stokie said to me tonight. It’s wank but it’s our wank. It’s stoke. We seriously need to improve. Awful.

It wasn't great but the drooling some do over 'Frank Lampard's Derby' and they dither to a 0-0 at home to 'world's ours side, Stoke'...
Have some fucking patience.

Really don’t understand how keen some are on here to get shot of Butland. Put Federici in net, and you’ll get an idea of what we’ll miss if he does leave in the Summer.

I don’t think anyone is advocating we get rid of Butland. The fact is he wants, and deserves, Premier league football which he’s not going to get any time soon if he stays at a Stoke. That’s the reality.

You don't have to win away games draws are fine if you are winning at home. It's our home form which has let us down. Tom Lawrence is the player who makes Derby tick and it's no coincidence that he's just missed six games when Derby's form has been no better than ours. In their home defeat to Millwall their only shot on target was in the 93rd minute. When I heard he was back tonight I feared the worst so yes that was an excellent point. Moan if we do as badly against Reading on Saturday but not tonight please.

Very good: Butland Edwards Okay: Batth Shawcross BMI Adam Wank: Everyone else, bar 3, who were... Especially wank: Woods Allen Diouf I thought Adam had a very poor game. All the midfield did. But Ince was the worst on the pitch by a country mile. Properly gutless performance.

What is NJ’s attacking ‘concept’ ? I would be genuinely interested to know the thought process. It seems on the face of it to be a hopeful punt up top and see if anyone can get hold of it ( and even if they do there is no one else within a country mile of them ). I just don’t see the hint of anything that’s been thought out. He's still got 3 years of Stoke baggage to deal with, including a lot of Rowett signings that have offered absolutely fuck all in terms of improving the squad. If Jones had come in and just implemented his system straight away without seeing what's what- we would continue to get decimated each week and be 2-0 down after every half. Look at his time here this season as preparation for next season and beyond. We still won't be the complete article going into next season but I do believe he's closer to shaping us into how he wants us- a fast, relentless, attacking and ultimately successful team with commitment to the cause that would make Pulis blush.

I hope you are right. The shambles we saw last night (attack wise) and have seen all too frequently before is a poor reward for a couple of months worth of working with the existing players.

Can i give a shout out to the idiot stood in front of me at Derby last nite. Dont think he saw any of the game. Constantly staring at Derby fans giving them the wanker sign. Then his behavior was confirmed near end. Me and my friend saw him sat down cover himself with his coat then snort lines of coke. Just putting it out there.
