Unbelieveable decision 4th in the league and they sack Darren Moore. I think he has done a decent job there and hope he gets another job soon. Hope West Brom dont get promoted now it would serve them right disgusting way to treat a manager

I'm not a Baggies fan by any stretch of the imagination but I have a lot of time for Darren Moore, his character in general and what's he's done there. This is disgraceful. I hope they tank big time and he gets a good gig elsewhere - when he's ready.

Big Sam would be a good fit for both them & him right now even if on a short term basis although know the fans wouldn't be too chuffed if he got appointed.
He's a Black Country lad, lives nearby & with a bit of tweaking & good fortune there's a good chance they could still grab an automatic promotion place or at worst a play off spot come May. If he gets them promoted he's a hero & would likely stay on to manage to them in the Premier League. At worst their season fizzles out & they don't go up, he can walk away nothing lost nothing gained.

Football has been totally corrupted by money. Players stamping on fellow professionals. Managers sacked for losing a few home games. Owners cheating on spending rules. Corrupt administrators holding World Cups in Russia and Middle East dictatorships. This will all come to a sorry end. All good points. Not sure how it's relevant to Moore being sacked though. Moore's sacking tells me the WBA owners are ruthlessly ambitious to get into the Prem and despite Moore having turned round the worst team in the Prem.the first sign of adverse results and he has been sacked. Anyone with the slightest knowledge of football knows you can't win every game, and even the best teams have a run of poor results in the the season. WBA have lost 3 of their last 8 games, all against top teams above them in the table; Norwich lost 3 of their first 5 games, all to teams top of the table. To change manager at this stage of the season is totally illogical. The relevance of all my comments is that everyone in the game has been corrupted by money and lost all sense of decency. I'm not saying we should go back to maximum wages and the game run by men in blazers, but the pendulum has swung too far.

How the baggies have grounds to sack this man is beyond me. Stabilised the club it seems on the back of relegation, West Brom through and through in the promotion mix and sacked. Unbelievable. What we would give to be in their current position and the poor fuckers lost his job

That is absolute crap, we would give our left and right too only be 4th and he has lost his job over it..... it’s particularly shitty as to how well he has done since taking over in his first proper gig as a manager Much more going on here behind the scenes We would now being 16th, but at the start of the season being 9pts off the top two at this stage I am sure would be classed as a disappointment. Personally I would have kept him a new manager has no time to turn it around and their play off spot is not secure so if it is the play offs the best chance is with the guy who assembled the squad. Equally his job spec would not have been the play offs and he was allowed to keep most of his squad and was reasonably well backed. Disappointing it maybe but if Rowett was still here and we were currently 9 points off the top two, sitting in fourth position, then there's no way that Stoke City would have sacked him today.

They got rid of Moore, because they want more.🤑 It doesn't take nancy boy, incorrect grammar to highlight what a shithouse decision this is. As has been said many time before... Fuck Off West Brom.

Ok let's go backwards then So you want a manager who was sacked by West Brom because he wasn't good enough for them? Ok. That's a giant leap forward then.

It is a very odd decision.
Even if you accept that loyalty isn't part of modern football - the window's closed so the new manager is going to have to play the hand he's been dealt - and Moore got the job because he got more out of this bunch of players than their last two managers did.
The only way it would make any sense to me is if there's a manager that they really want who is available now but they fear will be snapped up before the season ends. And then somebody says they're after Moyes!

Crikey, no pressure for the successor then?!
Along with Hughton's sacking yrs back, one of the strangest. DM looks like he has done a very good job in the circumstances.

Would Big Sam be a good fit? Why, other than him being a local?
Their fans got fed up with TP pretty damn quick and they seem to be one of many deluded clubs who think they have a ‘West Brom’ way of sexy football.

Is Allardydce going to be linked to every job that ever becomes available? Does anyone seriously think he'll go WBA? Really?
