Nice to see Smudge schmoozing with CEO of the year. And Malcolm Clarke with Mr PFA. Thick as thieves!

I had to answer the phone part way through. Really wanted to leave it and listen but I am supposed to be working! Read the book 'A Hero Who Could Fly' by Don Mullan. It's all in there. Very moving. Great speeches especially from Wendy and that black vicar was quality. I've just noticed on Amazon he's done an updated version called 'A boy who wanted to fly' which incorporates the original book and brings it up to date as Mullan was instrumental in the statue being commissioned and built. Only £7.99 as well.

Central News dedicating tonight's show to Banks and today's funeral. Broadcasting live from ground too. Great footage. And the Beeb.

One of my all time favourite childhood memories was always seeing when England played when the teams were shown on tv it always had Stoke in brackets re his team. So proud of that...

Every single moment was wonderfully done. Well done to all involved. It's so easy to forget what a fantastic football club we are.

There was a black vicar...don't know his name...bloody brilliant he was! Hopefully they'll have the speeches somewhere...I missed the Irish man (just as the army got to his house) and his daughter. I think there was a phone. I bet it was Ricardo Fuller. Don Mullan. His speech was very moving. Bit annoying that the sentinel haven't bothered to mention either him or his speech.

Lovely tribute on Radio Stoke from Smithy and Conroy. Conroy saying that you knew how good Gordon was when dealing with all the hospital balls coming his way from Denis
Very moving tribute from Pej clearly talking about his all time hero.

I stood outside the Minster watching the cortege arrive and the very moving scene of so many gathered outside in the rain. Jumped in my car and took a trip up to the ground to see the tributes underneath the statue. Listening to Don Mullan on the radio going up there, I can honestly say I began to get my Stoke 'mojo' back. Think it's the first time in a long while, I can safely say 'We've' come together, city, club and fans, to do a great Man proud...

As bad as we've been on the pitch this season we were awesome off it today. I attended the service at the ground and was truly proud to be part of the Stoke City family today. A day I'll never forget. RIP Gordon and god bless you.

As one who had been very critical of the executive management of the club but isn’t entirely myopic ,credit where credit is due .
Since Gordon’s sad loss the club have responded superbly , with a ownership ,humility, stature and touch that’s been superb , from Communication to the videos to the tributes , to today.
The city and supporters have of course responded magnificently , I’m very proud to be from Stoke tonight .
May this sad loss and celebration today , be a inspiration for Nathan and team to show how privileged they are and how much potential there is , and a catalyst for some unity and awareness and recovery throughout the club .
well done Mr Scholes and co , the club has done Gordon and the city proud and the city has responded in kind .

I find it fascinating the re-telling of history now, the club previously didn't want the statue. As previously little known, but mentioned today multiple times on radio stoke by the Andrew, the local sculptor and Don (the chap from NI), the statue nearly ended up in Leicester. And there are reasons why it is where it is. The club did well today. And I hate making this point now but it needs to be said.

TP sorting Rics suit jacket outside. Love that man. Great send off, great by Stoke to stream that too - well done to all involved. RIP Banksy. That was a beautiful moment. I'm one who thought pulis shafted ric towards the end but ric clearly doesn't feel the same
