Now don’t get me wrong he’s not the long term answer but Christ we don’t half miss him. He’s the only midfielder we have with any drive and creativity. The 3 out there today haven’t got a creative bone in there body. They just want to get rid of the ball as quick as possible and usually sideways or backwards.

If he's fit he should be the first name on the team sheet! Can't believe its come to this but its true! (Still think he'll get sent off though)

Talk of a possible new deal in that article. Who'd have seen that coming a couple of months ago.

Adam for Woods......Hmmmm, let me think!!! 🤔 Why the fuck not!!! I’d stick with Woods, give him a run of games to build up his confidence. Looked decent when he first arrived.

Who would you drop to accommodate that though Lordb? I’d prefer us to use the rest of the season to play players in the positions that we’d expect them to start next season. Assuming any of them are still here 🤣

He has to play, simple as. He is the difference at the minute and will help us secure a couple of three pointers in winnable games. No brainer for me, but then I bloody love the guy!

Still think we need to only use Charlie as a sub, if we trying to lay the foundations for the future

Can he play at left back? If you fancy two early yellows and an early bath for our Charlie!

I would play Charlie without hesitation. Against Leeds he was outstanding. It has been good to see him watching the games against Preston and West Brom. He still has a lot to offer in terms of his passing and creativity. Also his willingness to shoot.

It'd be like putting a tab of smack in front of a junkie and telling him not to touch while you leave the room!!!

Quite a skill really. Bless him. At least he tries.

Because he has never, never been able to do it on a consistent basis.

He was consistently successful until then. That was 7 years ago. In 2011 he was on the short list for PFA Player of the Year. His form was patchy at Liverpool but that was a big step up and he was only there for 1 season. It think it is generally considered that he was also doing consistently well at Stoke until his father committed suicide in 2012 and then was given 3 month compassionate leave. Even after that he had decent spells for us and played in the sides that finished 9th in the Prem. He lost his place to Bojan in 2015 and its only since then that his career has been patchy.
