Gets worse every time someone says it. We didn’t even need him and was a puzzling decision decision at the time. 'only' £15m At least double his worth + His very very high wages. Scholes worst deal in my view Berahino previously showed what he could do. Understand the reasoning. Imbula showed just how good he was, but just can’t produce it consistently and personal issues are what hold him back. But Kevin Wimmer is just a shit footballer. Absolutely awful. I don’t get what videos people watched to sanction that kind of money I really don’t. For me I agree, worst deal for Scholes (and by some distance as well).

Not encouraging... geissblog.koeln/2019/07/bei-lockerem-sieg-kein-bewerbungsschreiben-von-wimmer/WITH A LOOSE WIN: NO JOB APPLICATION FROM WIMMER Kevin Wimmer was in the friendly against the Landesligisten in the starting lineup, but could convince only a little of himself No recommendation from Kevin Wimmer When the first 22 players entered the field at 6 pm, Kevin Wimmer was also among the starting players in Cologne. The rejected Stoke City player may not only keep fit at the FC, but was also able to collect match practice for the first time. The fact that Wimmer is looking for a new employer after being disembarked in England is undeniable. However, whether the player at 1. FC Köln, who is known to be looking for another center-back, could become an option, is still open. At any rate, the 26-year-old could not make a lasting impression on Wednesday. Although the Cologne backs were busy this evening, even slightly, nevertheless, the central defender fell by lack of liveliness and in parts by uncertainties in the ball statement and in passing game. With a short playing time of only 30 minutes, however, the former cologne left little time to attract positive attention. Achim Beierlorzer did not want to overdo the performance of his training guest. "We do not want to overrate that," said the coach afterwards. "It was important for Kevin to play for us, because then we could play with four center-backs." The coach then made it cautious to realize that Wimmer is still missing much of his old strength. "You've already noticed that he has not played for a while." Instead, in the first group, especially Jakobs and Ehizibue could draw attention to themselves. While the latter was noticed especially by fast runs to the baseline, Jakobs showed on the left side playful, robust and with a decent move to the goal. They can't base their impression from 30 minutes! When they've watched him 25 times they will stump up the cash!

We are obviously in the need of 1 or 2 faster central defenders. At some Point we had a guy called Kevin Wimmer here. I don't remember him at all. Did he really have 17 chances? I must have been unable to follow Stoke during that short period, at least on TV (and irl since I live hundreds of miles away). So I ask the one's who have actually seen him play? What are his pros and cons? Can he really be worse than what we have atm? What's wrong with Kevin Wimmer, if anything? Is it Worth trying to get him back?? Is it even possible? When? He was reportedly 2 stone overweight when he came here and only played 10 games in 3 years before his arrival(which in itself makes a mockery of the club statement that every play is watched at least a dozen times and that they delve into the player's character before they buy) We lost 5-0 away to Spuds in his first game and he spent half an hour after the game talking to Spurs fans and players having a laugh and joke with them pitchside. Meanwhile, Shawx was tweeting that all the players are in the dressing room hurting after that performance, not realising that one of the characters did not seem to be hurting at all. Adding to his awful attitude/character, he is slow, does not like to train, poor player to have in the dressing room, can't head a ball for a tall guy and does not have a big/brave heart in the tackle or for any battle he looked totally uninterested when playing for Stoke. He is basically one of those players who is happy to steal a living out of football and will be quite happy to leech a living out of Stoke until his contract runs out. Another Spuds player that we are stuck with - as no fecker will go near him. I never thought I would ever utter these words, but he worse than Palacios

He could still play an important role in training.. The team could practice free kicks and he could be the wall.. bonus’s are it’s a fair wall to get round and if you hit him it doesn’t matter ....

Wimmer is our worst ever signing.
With Imbula, Berahino, you saw glimpses as to why they were one so highly rated.
I can understand those mistakes.
But Wimmer, it was obvious straight away he's a pub footballer. The way it came just after selling Arnie, and using that to buy Wimmer. It's the signing that will define the club for seasons to come.
I can't help but hate the player himself, for his lack of effort.

Doesn't sound hopeful on getting rid of him...
Kevin Wimmer has played his second test match as a guest player for 1. FC Köln. For a permanent return of the central defender to the Geissböcken, however, extraordinary circumstances would have to occur.
After a conversation with the 26-year-old, the Effzeh has offered the central defender initially only one more training participation.
In the 5: 1 victory of 1. FC Cologne in Reutlingen Kevin Wimmer ran in the second half. 45 minutes Wimmer ran next to Lasse Sobiech. The day before, the center-back had teamed up with sporting director Armin Veh and coach Achim Beierlorzer and talked about the previous impressions in training and on the way forward.
"Kevin has made an effort to stay fit and we offer him this opportunity for the next week," said Beierlorzer after the test victory in Reutlingen. "But we did not talk about another constellation." Another constellation would be a transfer, of course. But this has not become more probable in the training camp in Donaueschingen.
Sporty revealed Wimmer compared to his teammates a significant fitness backlog and showed after four years in Tottenham, Stoke and Hannover, with only irregular play, a good distance away from his best form. The FC was therefore also reserved and deliberately playing on time. "It's not like we have to act the same way. We want to have the absolute right center back and we are still looking for it. Right now we are in no hurry, "said Beierlorzer

You’d think the fat useless fuck would be busting a gut to get himself fit and playing regular football.
But no, the fucking waste of space is more happy to continue drawing his pension from Stoke, whilst doing as little work as possible.
He truly is a footballing parasite

I would fuck him off up the Vale - fully paid by stoke and make him play with Unwashed. Im sure he would break his contract at the first opportunity.
It would funny watching the fat lard arse trundling around Vale Park

I've never seen anything decent from him and didn't want him to sign, but, before he joined Spurs he was allegedly a decent player, how do we get him back to that? I don't get that without a physical or mental breakdown a player can become so useless and we've signed lots of them!!
