Didn't he say early on in his own deal that he doesn't want to return to stoke? Just why the fuck sign for us in the first place he obviously doesn't want to be here Money. Nothing else. Do you honestly think he is on more money with us than he was at Tottenham??

Staggeringly it’s still not guaranteed to be Scholes worst deal in office
certainly in the top 5 but
1 selling Arnie to a relegation rival 2 selling Nzonzi for £7.5m 3 Paying £12m for Berahino 4 Paying £8m for palacios 5 Maurice Edu 6 Paying £18m for Wimmer 7 Signing Jesse and making him the sign of ambition 8 Allowomg the Shaq contract or drift 9 paying £6.5m for McLean 10 Paying 18m for imbula 11 renewing Glen Johnson contract 12 length of contracts for Berahino , imbula , Wimmer 14 2 1/2 year deal for Paul Lambert 15 Paying Derby compensation 1.9m for Rowett who they didn’t want .
now acknowleding he is a utttelry failed CEO which is now clearly beyond debate , many say he is Just the bean counter well I’m glad he’s not counting my beans as he’s clearly made a total balls of that too

Who the hell thought this guy was worth 18million... Daniel Levy. I seriously doubt Levy thought for a moment Wimmer was worth £18m. Sadly the only people (probably in the entire world) who thought that was our crack recruitment team. And Kevin's mum. I know lots of Spurs fans and they simply could not believe their luck. Reminds me of the "I Saw You Coming" sketch from Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse. Did they ever.

Mind you, there could be similar stands all over the country. (A bit like when there were dozens of Kops). WBA is one example. Other suggestions welcome.

I used to play on a Saturday morning for a club called Stockton Heath Albion - we weren't top flight - div 2 in the Warrington football league system
I think I was coming to the end of my time playing football around then = having played in the mid cheshire league for a while at quite a decent standard
BUT I can honestly say, Kevin Wimmer wouldnt have got into plenty of the Sunday league/pub teams in and around Warrington, when I used to play
I mean that absolutely honestly.

Ultimately there’s the final say on deals and over the past 2-3 seasons they’ll be the death of thus club.
There’s handing down the ropes but obviously whoever is pulling the strings now has decided to hang the club and I fear there’s more to come.

Do you honestly think he is on more money with us than he was at Tottenham?? Well he probably was on more at Stoke while we were Premier League , otherwise why would he have left Spurs ? , he hardly seems the ambitious type. Maybe he got a relegation reduction in his contract .

The main problem with N'Zonzi was that no one else bid for him. If any other club but Seville had been interested I'm sure we could have got much more for a great player who was not going to play for us again. Seville got a bargain, we got screwed and an awful lot of clubs (like Arsenal etc) missed out on a player who would have taken them to the next level. Much as I'd like to, I don't think we can lay the blame for this one on Scholes/Carto.

We then make a similar mistake with Shaq .£45m the three when Arnie was going for £40m this January .Its shit business no matter Which way you judged it . Compounded by £50m for ince , afoebe ,woods .mclean etc .

Lumbered with that.
