He`s tall, he`s red, his feet stick out the bed, Peter Crouch.
What a great guy and not a bad footballer either - all the best Pete.

I was always disappointed that the “Crouchie is a Potter, he looks like Rodney Trotter” chant never took off.
All the best Pete. Top man

Class act. If he decides not to retire it would be nice if he rocked up with some Championship opposition next season.

Top bloke, and player. Good luck to him. Hope he returns in another role for us in the future. Imagine if he had joined us 3 years before he did. Always thought he was the perfect player for the Pulis way.

Thank you Peter for all that you’ve done. I’m sure he will have fond memories of the club and talk about us positively in the future.
One thing watching that video of his goals.....as a style of play in his latter years we just seemed to stop crosses into the box for him. He was always better attacking a ball crossed in with pace or held up...why didn’t we play to these strengths more?

A true soccer legend - loyal, skilful, goal-scorer and a really thoughtful and nice guy. With sincere best wishes Peter for the remainder of your soccer career and I am sure that you will soon be a big (tall) favourite of the Burnley fans. Thank you too, for your full support of Stoke City FC.

Thank you, Crouchy, for all that you have done for our Club, both on and off the pitch. True professional and complete legend. Not many that have graced our ranks over the last 156 years could have scored THAT goal against Man City!

5 minutes at the end of every game with Burnley will suit their system of defending the whole 90 minutes and sending long balls to the strikers at the end of the game.

Awesome servant to our club and what a contribution he has made to Stoke City FC over the course of his time with us on & off the pitch.
My 2x young girls are totally gutted he's moved on as am I. Perhaps it was the right time for a fresh start & one last bash at the top table for him but guessing it is a measure of the guy that he's held in such high esteem by not only our fan base, but also football fans in general.
Quick story of Crouch I'd like to share that kind of sum's the guy up. I've couriored for quite a few away games over the years on the official coaches and often get chatting to the coach drivers to pass the time.
2x different coach driver's have told me that on occasions when they've driven the offical players coach the player's usually stream on to the coach with their headphones on and hardly ever communicate in any way with them! But these guys told me that Crouch always makes a point of climbing on board, introducing himself to the driver (Who doesn't know who Crouch is?!), shaking hands and thanking them for driving. Probably incidental as a one off but for two coach drivers to mention Crouchie doing the same thing shows how despite his status & lifestyle Crouch is unique from the typical footballer these days in that he is a one off who I really think deserves Legendary status at our club.

Just shows the down to earth guy he is. My lad has waited for his autograph on a match day, he also waited at the training ground once, both times he had a beeming smile, made the effort to talk to him, not just one word stuff, things like that help to build the future support for our club, he was 6 and 8 on the second occasion, now his bedroom is stoke a stoke city shrine. I love it, takes me back to when I met stein Thanks Pete you help create another die hard stoke fan

Magic man on and off the pitch!
As unlikely looking footballer as we are ever likely to see - those beanpole legs without muscle !
Scorer of so many ungainly goals and yet the scorer of the object of beauty that was THAT goal against Man C
Ambassador, gentleman, and master of all snide trickery in the box.
WE thank you, Crouchy, for so many memories.
