And based on the above he won't be moving anywhere anytime soon- any premier league club coming in for him would only be on reputation alone and not on current form. Kind of purchase we would have made in yesteryear but not sure any other club is as stupid:)!

Any game with Jack in goal is a game without Jakob Hauugard in goal.

Did well for the save yesterday, thought he had a good game He won us three points plain and simple. If that header goes in I genuinely think we may have lost the game. We're very lucky to have such a top class keeper. Keep him and there's still a bit of a chance of the play offs.

It was a fantastic save. Not many goalkeepers could have done it. And I thought his kicking was a bit better, too.

When he first came here I thought he came for crosses much more than he does now, needs to get his confidence back and be more decisive .

I noticed that Williams, Shawcross and Bruno were lined up on the edge of the 6 yard box, in front of Jack at each corner
Any of the 3 of them had the momentum to move forward to head the ball - Ryan in particular did this well - no wrestling etc
A couple of times it appeared that they didn't hear Jack when he called, but all 4 of them did look a lot more organised at these set plays

Imo he's better at throwing the ball out, distribution is alot better that way. Wish Jack would release it quicker sometimes until waiting till other team nearly all back in own their half. Straight through Shawcross's legs for goal so no blame for Jack there. Good concentration for header, very good save 👏👏👏

Does he coat his gloves in vaseline before every match? Poor today - again. Gouranga. He wasn't poor. Pulled off a brilliant save to keep us in front. Looked better for having an organised team in front of him, instead of the usual shambles.

It was a fantastic save. Not many goalkeepers could have done it. And I thought his kicking was a bit better, too. I posted yesterday that he should have done better with the cross before the corner. From Block 27 it looked like he should have caught it. I was wrong. He was brave to come from the cross, and the save was sensational.

Quoted after the Brentford game I think mate 👍 Ah, ok. Still applies though. Oh yeah, not much for him to do with defence actually organized in front of him. This blokes come in and spotted it after 2 games, why the fook couldn't rowett in 6 months. Thimk Jones is going have a bright future, fingers crossed with us 😁

One of the best shot stoppers ever and he has saved us more points than lost
However, what is holding him back is his coming for crosses and his woeful distribution - which one can probably put down to his injury as before that his distribution was rather good

Hopefully with out new passing the ball forward mantra will limit the number of times we pass back to Jack putting him under unnecessary pressure.

The save Jack made ensured we won the three points. He is a great step stopper . Distribution is an issue and I think one which will be the reason he does neither earns another England cap, nor gets a top 6 club chasing him.
More than happy if he stays with Stoke City

I've been critical of Jack this season but that save at 1-0 (if memory serves me) was absolutely brilliant.
Won us the game in the end.

ok, maybe i'm just a overly suspicious.
but
I have just watched that video a few times, and on first look it is a good save but, why does he move to his left, to cover a man that is well covered by 2 defenders, to allow ball to get headed to where he was previously standing, if the attacker had aimed it more to the right hand post ( as we see it) Butland would have had no chance, whilst if he had stayed in the middle, then he would have had a chance to get to it no matter where it was placed.
Often you see / suspect keepers making a save look harder than it really is, just seems a bit dubious to me that he moved to wards the near post when the only opponent on that side was well covered

He wasn't going over to cover the player that was marked, he has to read where the header will most likely take place and then be roughly on a perpendicular line between the point of contact and the goal line, the header from a cross from that side of the pitch is more likely to go in that direction. His shot stopping is about as good as any keeper I've seen, his distribution is a poor as any keeper I've seen.

Noted that Bergo was dropped to the bench this week end.
More than happy if Jack stays with us for next season but if serious money is offered in the summer , Bergo returning could be an option, if we would come.

I sit right behind the goal and one of the problems for Keepers is you are very very near the crowd and although the away keeper might expect some grief Jack comes in for a fair bit as well and it cant help your confidence when your being abused by your own.His kicking improved as the match went on but his save was sensational.
