We have to give Wolves £12 million pounds to complete the signing of this complete clown when the bank opens tomorrow Anyway we can renege on this? A sort of football equivalent of a 2nd brexit referendum dare I say it, following some further reflection in the cold light of day now we have seen the house we bought from the timeshare salesmen on that balmy spring evening ?!

He probably hasn't missed one in training all season. Mind you for all his qualities penalty saving isn't Jacks forte.
(To be clear - I'm not blaming Jack for Afobe's shite penalty)
Afobe has missed enough penalties now, he should step aside and let someone else take them and miss.

It's not just that he's missing penalties, he's costing us important points

Our penalty record over the last three seasons is astonishing. Arnoutivic's at Swansea possibly the worst however don't remember him missing any others. Bojan missed,Saudi missed,Afobes missed,Adam missed.

When your team is rock bottom on confidence, the manager is begging for a win, and fans are at boiling point you step up and smash that ball with all your might in the corner of the net!!

Hard and low in the centre. Surely the success rate is higher than any other area of the goal.

I've often commented about penalties. When a commentator says what a wonderful penalty and they send the keeper the wrong way. The same penalty is shite if the keeper guesses the right way. The taker should always have the edge. As another poster said, just smash it Harry Kane style. Our records both scoring then and saving them are abject

Nine times out of ten a keeper is going to dive one way or the other so smash it straight down the middle.

One of the worst penalties I've ever seen but what's even more telling is the reaction of our players when the keeper saves it.
The keeper actually pushes it right back into the middle and if anyone was alert they would have had a simple goal. However Tom Ince stands there on his heels waving his arms around and Joe Allen scampers slowly towards the ball. Meanwhile a Bristol City player, whose starting position was exactly level with Ince and Allen, shows some urgency and gets to the ball with ease. Disgrace.

Is there no way of not paying Wolves 12 million?

He hit it in exactly the same place as last time but with less conviction. GK knew exactly where it was going.

Is there no way of not paying Wolves 12 million? Follow the Agent Orange model and find any excuse not to pay a bill - then wait to be sued. Surely there are “Lemon Laws” or “False Advertizing Laws” in English Law?

I think it was against Hull, and we also missed a second penalty and lost 0-3, with the awful Jason Price scoring at least one.

Awful penalty but no chance of any of our players being first to the follow up.

We were promised by Rowett at the start of the season that Afobe guarantees you 20 goals a season at this level. I can only assume that he was banking on us getting 40 penalties!

The keeper (Nyland) went the right way and nearly saved the one he scored at Villa.

Awful penalty but no chance of any of our players being first to the follow up. There was no chance of them getting the rebound because they were flat footed and slow to react. Or in Tom Ince's case, too busy throwing a tantrum. At the moment the Bristol defender clears the ball, there were six Bristol defenders all rushing to deal with the danger. The only Stoke player even moving was Allen, who at least tried to get there, albeit without much purpose.
