There is simply a dearth of talent in either of the main parties right now. The Tories are dead and buried for years and Labour will be in by default.
The state of the Labour front bench sums it all up. Most of the Tory opposition comes regularly from Anna Soubry, who is doing more of a job on her own party than Corbyn could ever dream of.
The points of order last night in the commons showed the entire country what a bunch of spineless, talentless, clueless and gutless bunch of people we have running this country.
Not a single one of them have a clue what to do and it is all down to conceit and arrogance that we are where we are.
Not a single one expected Brexit and not a single one made a plan in the event of a vote.

Who's mentioned you, you loon? I'm talking about the executive. Anyone looking at Parliament this week would make any moderate supporter of Parliamentary Democracy sick to their stomach. This Prime Minister despises scrutiny of any sort and the Government this week have set themselves up as some sort disgusting dictatorship. Even the Victorian Ghost is disgusted.

The woman who has been ridculed all day on twitter for going around the studios yesterday going mental at Labour for not calling a vote of no confidence but saying she'd vote for the Government in it? She's a convictionless fucking idiot!

Most of the Tory opposition comes from the ERG MPs who have boxed May into a corner and produced the mess we're in now. Labour, although they might be shit in opposition are not actually in Office. This is the Tory Party's mess. They need to clean it up. They can't clean it up. They haven't got a single MP that will unite their own party, nevermind any opposition or the country. The only way out of this is a minority Labour government, a botched second referendum and a reversal of Brexit. Then watch another set of games begin...

There used to be some cracking wordsmiths on all sides. Castle, Benn, Foot, Healey and Robin Cook for Labour, alone. Proper politicians, who commanded the House, whether you supported them or not. Now we have a bint from Central Weekend, some fucker who used to be in Corrie and Emily Fucking Thornberry. The up and comers are abysmal on all sides. Richard Burgon for Labour epitomises the sheer emptiness they provide, as does Jess Phillips. There a few who seem decent, but they hardly seem to get a look in. Very uninspiring, to say the least. And so out of touch.

I watched Bill Cash last night trip himself up numerous times to the point where i'm not sure anyone in the house knew what his question actually was!? and he was one of the few that could be arsed to stay! As for Stephen Barclays 'performance'. Christ.

Totally agree. The younger Tories are feeble, too.

Rachel Reeves seems one of the more measured MPs,whenever I have seen her on TV. Someone is bound to point out a clanger she's come out with now!

I can't fucking stand O'brien. He browbeats people all the time. I won't even play the clip, he irritates me so much. I must say I’ve got the same with him recently. When he first came to light I thought he was a real breath of fresh air in an authority-challenging sort of way, but on LBC his sole purpose seems to be to humiliate workaday Brexiteer callers. Low-hanging fruit to be honest, but at least they have the guts to talk to their opponents, unlike O’Brien who openly refuses to debate Leavers of any public influence because he doesn’t want to “legitimise” their views. I suspect it’s more likely he’s a bit scared of a situation where he’s not in control of the volume knob and might find himself facing someone who’s actually got some well-thought-out contradictory opinions. Incidentally he also routinely mocks people by aping their mannerisms and speech patterns, which, considering they are guests in his show, is frankly rude, and the hallmark of a bully. He’s the absolute embodiment of the righteous liberal classes tut-tutting at the populous and informing them how they should think. If and when Brexit happens it will be in no small part down to his like.

Esther Mcvay least she's decent to look at. Don't think she's got a chance tbh - but I haven't seen her once during any of the times I've watched the coverage of Parliament debates on Brexit. Similar with Nadone Dorries - I haven't seen her at all in the House of Conmen either.

Hmmm...not really sure just yet Tricky. I think Gove is probably just bookies favourite ahead of Boris but Boris won't have the support in the Tory membership to win. I think Raab or Hunt could have a real chance, and Davis or Javid could be dark horses.
