Would have to agree, mainly because TP had a hard on for Owen which is why he didn't renew RF10's contract For reasons we’ll probably never know, Pulis never seemed to forgive Fuller for the chance he missed v Blackpool in December 2010. He barely got a look in after that. He left at the end of the 2011/12 season. Owen wasn’t signed until September 2012. I don’t think Owen was remotely responsible for Fuller’s departure. Your hatred of Owen is therefore irrational, unless it also involves him being a monotonous, tedious, talentless match summariser, in which case it’s totally understandable.

😢 One quarter of my favourite back 4. Agreed, him, Vinny, Cranston and Butler were my favourite awesome foursome, but I was at staffs uni at the same time as Sandford (he used to rock up to lectures with that dance teacher bird) and he’d never talk to anyone, seemed to think he was a cut above the scum around him. Ian Clarkson, have similar experience with him at Staffs Uni. Chris Iwelumo, showoff and loud in non football surroundings. Matthew Upson, can't put my finger on it, never seemed as though he wanted to be here. Jonathan Woodgate, See Upson.

Liked a lot of the players on here. How anyone can dislike Dave Kevan is beyond me,one of the nicest men going. Anyway another vote for Tony Ellis, the epitome of the bottler. Stoke were the biggest club he'd played for,he couldn't cope with the pressure (scored his goals mostly away) but still gave it the big time Charlie routine. Tony ( slick ) Ellis the poor mans Charlie Nichloas

For all the shit I’ll get, Fuller. Very creative player but just not a goalscorer. He created so many great opportunities, but missed so many as well. And whatever shit you'd get will be thoroughly deserved.

Can't believe I'm the first person to mention John Walters. I know he scored a few goals and he wasn't actually a bad player and he would chase around the pitch like an over energetic spaniel but I just couldn't stand him Maybe it wasn't his fault just all the Super Jon! chants, the capped one screaming GO'ORN JON!

Graham Potter, seems like a decent bloke now but a really poor player here that didn’t fit the normal mould of defender that we had. Graham Kavanagh, I have no idea when it was but there was a point when he turned into a massive dick, it started at the Victoria ground so wasn’t transfer related. Kitson, asking for a fitness test, fuck off. Steven transfer request N’Zonzi. Arnie, a diving, cheating shit house. The only surprise it took so long for him to force a move.

Is it players you don't like as people or players who are popular players who you just didn't rate for whatever reason?

Think Jon was class for us, part of the DNA that we used to piss everyone off. Not the best player but always left everything on the pitch and was very good at winding up opponents. Was it Joe Harts water bottle he emptied in front of the boothen?

It takes a bit for me to dislike a player in 'my' team, but yeah....Brek Shea…..
Andrew Davies, Michael Tonge, Tom Soares. Those desperate signings at the end of the September 08 transfer windows. I don't really dislike them (I thought Tonge would actually be OK), and we actually signed them up, but man they made a living out of Stoke City playing 4, 19 and 13 games for the club in an aggregate total of 13 seasons.....

This thread is getting a bit crazy. I'll give you Kiston, there wasn't really any point in him. But Zonz and Arnie are our 2 best players of the modern era, Kav was our only even vaguely credible player in the late 90's and sure Potter was very limited but did his best in filling in for 40 odd games for us over 3 seasons in the early 90's.

Forgot Haugaard- because he's the worst keeper i've ever seen at Stoke You couldn't of been around in the Kevin Pressman or Tony Parks era! Neville Southall times maybe?! Who can forget the Hans Segers game too..? He was so poor during a loan spell he only played in a game V WBA where they tore us apart & Segers was sent back! Whilst Haugaard hasn't looked great for us in the few times he has played he's still got that he's relatively fresh & inexperienced in his favour. The other named keepers certainly stand out in my mind as being worse keepers to grace our shirt!

Jese - After a couple of games it was obvious why he's failed everywhere. He's basically a monumental C U N T of a human being.
Ryan Shotton - Terrible footballer, and once saw him in town acting like a billy big bollocks with lines like "do you know who i am?".
Shola Ameobi - Waste of a loan fee, and he was absolutely garbage in the process.

Dave Brammer, never made a forward pass and just smacked of the smugness that swirled around Crewe under Gradi.

Do you have a stoke player you never really liked and they weren’t absolutely dreadful for one reason or another. Basically half decent stoke players you never liked? Good question! One player fits this description for me: Ian Moores Probably says more about me than him, but I seem to remember him being constantly offside. Used to do my head in.
