Let's be honest, anything less than 4 will be worrying given the fact that we're playing two of the 'lesser lights'.
I reckon we'll lose at Rovrum and beat Bolton. 0-1 Saturday 2-0 midweek

Against the quality of opposition, anything less than maximum points and convincing performances is unacceptable

2 points
We'll concede stupid goals and probably recover enough for draws with Gazza bemoaning missed chances but loving the improvements of only conceding 2 goals a game instead of 3

4 Points
Draw against Rotherham Beat Bolton, just about
4 Points is the absolute bare minimum I expect tbh, otherwise we're even further downstream at shit creek, and the paddle is breaking more and more every week.

In normal circumstances, it'd have to be 6 against 2 of the financially weakest, making-up-the-numbers clubs.
But I probably would take 4, given where we find ourselves.

It has to be 6. If we are to show we aren't completely wank, it simply has to be 6 points.

Rotherham have a very good home record but don't score many, cue for a change of fortune on Saturday! Bolton on a bad run no wins in 5 so again due for a change. Despite all the evidence saying GR won't/can't get a reaction from the players I am going for 2-1 and 2-0 wins.

The next International break is after the Norwich game isn't it?
I reckon less than 4 points from Rotherham, Bolton and Norwich and we'll be looking for a new manager.

Well the choices are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 6. Don’t know, but my guess would be somewhere between 0 and 6.

I have too many bad memories of away defeats at Rotherham. Plus, their home form is very good, something like 16 wins out of the last 18 home games. With the way things are going at the moment, I fully expect a defeat. Bolton will be an important crunch game. Time to stop the rot.
So, this being Stoke, we’ll beat Rotherham and lose against Bolton.

6 or else...
They have to prove themselves. They have shown their capabilities but only after going down to ridiculous goals....

It really should be 6 points. But given where we are and how we are playing I'm going for an optimistic 3. I think we'll lose 2-1 at Rotherham and get a nervy 1-0 win against Bolton.

Usually you could make an a educated guess based on our recent form and a comparison of our squad with theirs. With our totally confusing form right now and players underperforming to an extravagant degree, I have not the foggiest how we will do in any game at the moment.

If we manage to lose on Saturday there'll be a lot of pressure on the Bolton game and I'm not sure the players, manager or his staff will be able to handle it.
I'll be optimistic and go for a 0-0 draw at Rotherham and a 1-0 win against Bolton as Rowett goes full Pulis and doesn't let the back four or central midfield cross the halfway line; Woods cutting a disconsolate figure as balls are fired over his head towards Crouch who repeatedly tries and fails to flick the ball on to Afobe. Charlie Adam scores a last-minute penalty against Bolton with only 10,000 left in the ground.

Who has anything to prove? What will they gain even? There are so few in our team with anything to prove especially in the championship.....

Stoke City, the likes of whom without, these same players would not be enjoying such life. They don't though? They socialise with fans? Talk to them much? Live with/around them? They will get paid regardless. I'm not sure even shawcross gives a damn about us having witnessed on numerous occasions last year and even previous (?) Conflict and evident exchanges of disagreement/disrespect. If that's the captain then how can the rest really give two fiddles about us low life? Fans have so little influence/power over these guys. If they feel hard done by, they get paid, I'm assuming they're give very little care about the club (see the efforts). On the basis of human psychology alone, it would only be natural for them to be the "journeymen" we see week in week out. The aging players who have been there done that will be replaced if there's any success at all and probably know it. What is there to prove????

He simply has to go if we don't win on Saturday.
Another embarrassing defeat on TV will do for him and his pygmies.
