Sad but true ...... we haven’t evolved with the times one bit...... now we need revolution when evolution at the top table would of been so much easier 50m ok If was that but with player sales even on from last season plus the 10 years of prem money plus Parachute payments now it’s peanuts to billionaires as they ain’t hardly been dipping into those vast funds. How many loans last year but this is the problem no fucker at the club knows what it’s supoosed to do it’s the ‘Boys Club’ because those two wankers should of been first gone after relegation and then Act like premier Club one in recruiting a new manger and player recruitment. It’s a fuckin farce. I agree completely as I’ve said elsewhere on the board we were the blueprint for clubs coming up, ....now we’re a clusterfuck ....we didn’t run with the times ....the lack of acknowledgment from above the club manager that we’ve got things wrong is frightening..... Cartwright especially because of the amount of shower of shite deals he had done and scholes for sanctioning them

Ever since Pulis was shown the door I've continually mentioned the same guy for the job. If those in power actually read this, go sound him out.

Certainly sounds like Nixon has heard something. Fingers crossed He’s gone from “just lost 1 game in 11” and was dismissive about the him being under pressure to that?

So to go from pretty dismissive to 'massively under pressure' in the space of 48 hours hopefully suggests he's heard something.

Let’s hope the board act decisively and quickly, it can’t be a see how it goes for a few more games, that will just compound the issues and leave any replacement with too little time to assess and make changes. Some hope!!!!!

I don’t think the board will be impressed with how he spoke after the game on Saturday and that might’ve changed things somewhat. Whenever Hughes had a dig at the fans he was smart enough to do it when we’d won or come from behind to draw. He also had credit in the bank from the first part of his tenure. I would expect that Rowett will not be as aggressive in his post match comments moving forward.

Any clear alternatives? 4 years of going to Ireland games has me convinced that MON would be no better.
Stoke need to go up. Spent big. So imagine it would be a big name if they change. And a spend. Stakes very high here.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnickoDo you think they could tempt Moyes? He would be in the frame I don’t know whether to be ecstatic or very, very scared after that quote. Light at the end of the tunnel or a tunnel that will take us to the depths of despair. Anyway nobody can be worse than Rowett, can they? I live in hope.

From Derby Forum when Rowett was appointed! We were warned!
Dear Mr Coates
I would just like to say thank you for appointing that defensive minded negative nobber as your new manager ,It is an astute piece of business [well at least it is from our end ]
Instead of spending my Saturdays being bored rigid watching the worst football in my 60 years watching Derby I am looking forward to being entertained again.
The money you kindly paid to take away Two Shots has probably gone towards funding two young [yes under 30] players so money well spend [ again from a Derby perspective].
We also have a manager who does what he says he will, bit of a novelty after the past year or so. Folk have been going on about football coming home well it is to Pride Park.
Once again thank you I hope you enjoy watching football in and around your own penalty area and you don't find it too stressful .
Kind regards KK

I'm sure it's been said but slagging off current and ex players and insulting loyal travelling supporters live on air isn't the brightest thing to do. Add that to a string of average performances with a squad that really should be top six material and there's no doubt in my mind he should be dismissed ASAP.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnickoDo you think they could tempt Moyes? He would be in the frame The more I think about it the more I think he might take it if offered. It doesn't look like anybody is going to blink in the Premier League and at the end of the season he's been out of football for a calendar year, a long time in this game. Soon forgotten. He'll want to get back in even if it is at this level and I'm sure he'd relish working under our Chairman. It would be a similar situation to Everton in structure. Is he a promotion man though? He's never actually won anything has he?

He was clearly the first choice by a mile. It always looked a long-shot he'd get anything better. He might be keen to get back in now. Good geographically for him, knows he'd be backed. Coates would love him and he's close friends with Scholes too, isn't he? It all fits. If they've been given the wink, Rowett will be out soon

I'd say the decision has already been made and it's a case of fudging through the Christmas period and into the new year without having to deal with a caretaker situation. Could be wrong, a million miles wrong but I'd be surprised if we don't have a new man in after Shrewsbury.

Alan Nixon @reluctantnickoDon’t think u would go foreign. It’s one for a big hitter. I wonder what he means by "big hitter" he says he doesn't think we'd go foreign so let's take jokanovic out of the scenario Moyes or even Allardyce maybe?? Both won't get prem jobs so maybe getting Stoke into the play offs or at least trying too could possibly be a Their route back 🤔
