I don't know how good he is, how is asking the question nonsense, maybe you should chill out a bit before jumping to the wrong conclusion. Fair do’s but is Shawcross ready is BMI ready ? No, Shawcross is done and I've never been a fan of BMI tbh.

It's always someone else's fault with Rowett isn't it? A bit like another manager we had but he got results. Odd comment when he's said a few times it's his fault. He's also right in saying the defence is wank because it is.

It's always someone else's fault with Rowett isn't it? A bit like another manager we had but he got results. At least he’s not blaming the ref. He needs to back his words up by making the right decisions though and not bringing in Fletcher and Crouchy. Problem is he’s limited in relation to options. For me I’d give Souttar a go on Wed and see how he does. If he does well bring him in for Rotherham. I’d go with Bauer or Edwards for Martina Williams for Ryan Souttar for Indi Bojan for Allen Berahino for Diouf

So you dont think Shawcross was at fault then ,You recon the defence did what they get paid to do . Rowett has come out and said enough is enough , you cannot blame him for individull's poor performance , at least he had the balls etc Donkey off at half time and put Saido on ,I suppose it was Rowetts fault we missed the penalty ,I aint saying he should burden no blame but for gods sake he picks the side he doesn't play the match ,we have some piss poor player with bad attitudes at the moment ,Jack looks like he does not want be here ,his body language is wrong ,he just does not look the same keeper at the minute.

As bad as bmi & shawcross are are I'd play collins & souttar, how can they possibly do any worse? Shawcross & BMI are abysmal, there is no other way of dressing it up. I'd give federici a chance aswell, butland goes about his business quietly, too quietly for my liking. Chuck federici in. Collins & souttar might do o.k with woods in front, they certainly can't do any worse.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-blackburn-rowett-berahino-2032711“We have conceded 16 goals this season and with the Blackburn goals included today we have made 14 elementary mistakes in those 16 goals.
“I think Blackburn gave us a bit of a lesson late on under pressure when they are throwing bodies around and being aggressive and doing everything they can to stop a goal going in, but we are defensively soft and weak.
“They are frustrated and I understand they are going to vent that frustration at me, but it would be nice if they vented it at one or two defenders as well because as a manager you can’t do the last bit for them.
“I didn’t think there was anything massively wrong tactically, just poor defensive errors.
“At the moment we keep making elementary defensive mistakes. My criticism of myself is that I shouldn’t have given so many players opportunities because we keep making the same mistakes.
“They are good guys, really nice people, but sometimes defenders aren’t always nice people, they are horrible sods who do what they have to do.
“I spoke to the players after the game and said `Listen, if you are a defender and you are not playing in the next game, I fully expect no-one to knock on my door and ask why because it’s self explanatory.’
“They are nice guys and work very hard, but we are in a business where results dictate how long I last in a job and how long you last as a player.
“Results haven’t been good enough and that’s down largely to a soft underbelly.” Fair enough. He'll get a lot more respect from me if he makes the big call and drops Shawcross etc. It doesn't alter the fact you don't go 433 at home to a team just promoted from league 1 however, that one's on him.

I'm disliking Rowett more every time I hear him. He has constantly blamed the back four since the first game defeat at Leeds and yet continues with the same players week after week. I have no idea what Rowett and his coaching team do on the training pitch but it's clearly not working. The way he then criticises certain players in media interviews is just plain wrong in my opinion. The longer he is in the job the more he seems totally out of his depth, I would actually be quite happy if he was relieved of his duties tonight because that performance today was a complete and utter shambles. If Butland hadn't made that save at 3-0 I really do think Blackburn would have gone on and won by 5 or 6.

Coates on the phone to Managing Director Radio Stoke: “ I say, what’s with the harsh question from Nigel?” Managing Director: “I’m so sorry, not sure what got into him, won’t happen again. Would questions on how much you love the club be ok next week?” Coates: “Yes, just make sure that’s all it is, otherwise no more interviews. Got it?”

So he can talk the talk.......but will he drop Shawcross and BMI and Pieters and Martina? Doubt it because our cover for these positions is none existent. Particularly at LB, a position we have ignored for the past 3 fucking seasons.
If you have some gonads about you Rowett you will drop this so-called "soft underbelly" AKA our whole back 4 to the bench play Bauer despite your little fallout, Williams as skipper alongside Souttar and well Erik can count himself lucky he is the only viable LB in the squad!
And FFS just play 4231 with Bojan and Bera in the same bloody team. IT IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!

We are all missing the point. An offside goal keeps us outside the bottom 3 tonight. Nine games nine Points means at that rate we will be batting to stay in the division come May. Putting the Chairman's finishing out of the top 6 into a harsher focus. Does this manager have the capability to manage a premier league squad or is he out of his depth?

Rowett certainly needs to carry the can over the results but it's not all down to him. There are other factors too.
What he does need to do though is to grow a pair and start dropping the undropables and stop blaming others as he ultimately picks the team.
We have some very good players in the squad but some damn poor ones too but we aren't playing to our strengths but we're trying to accommodate players in the side on reputation.
Next week he needs to make some big changes Ryan, Indi, Allen and Diouf need to be dropped with Williams. Soutter, Bojan and Berahino coming in. People need to come in and start fighting for the shirt again. We need to get rid of that losing mentality and hangover from last season and dropping the aforementioned 4 will help.
more recently it appears that most people seem to be giving the likes of Scholes an easy ride but let's not forget why we're here in this mess in the first place. I don't have many complaints about Rowetts signings but it never felt like we'd got enough in and yet again had tried to do it on the cheap getting in 2 Everton reserves on the loan when we should have gone for some young hungry players.

I never wanted Rowett, and I still don't want Rowett, I'll make no bones about it....
However, once that team crosses the line, it's up to the players....he's totally right in what he says!!!
Trouble is, we don't have the players capable of replacing Shawcross, Bruno or Peiters, in one go!!! I can't see why we're piss-arsing around where Collins is concerned, GET HIM FUCKIN IN STOKE, at least we can start by making two centre half changes...
Collins for Shawcross And maybe Williams for Bruno
A Collins & Williams (Wales) partnership???
