Isn't Rowshit giving away the fact that Bauer is not playing, by playing him in U23 games before our fixtures as well? He really is a mess.

All Im going to say is 3 managers.....same issues. At some point the players HAVE to be held responsible.

What did he say? If he’s seriously singled out Bauer rather than holding himself or the 11 on the pitch accountable, he’s deluded, unprofessional and a dick Had a dig at Bauer over posting on social media before the game. Had said it allowed Blackburn to know more about what Stoke team they would face. Bauer had put up earlier on Twitter that he had done an extra training session, to which Rowett has said it was only 20 mins extra, and that he will do an extra bit of training when he walks the dog tomorrow. Rowett had said just before that he is making changes in defence for the next game, but can almost rule out Bauer returning next week after that interview. Are we about to lose heavily at Rotherham with young lads at the back, shattering their careers forever?

Didn't get the impression it was a case of 'he won't play again'.
But he was absolutely seething about his social media post today. He could barely contain his fury. He thought he was trying to pile the pressure on an under-pressure manager, and he won't be playing any time soon.
He said "working hard" translated as doing a little 20 minute session of training this morning

Criticized his social media post saying how hard hes training and that he announced before the game he wasn't playing. Rowett says he trained only 20 mins and he doesn't like the fact that Blackburn knew he wasn't in the team before it was even announced. That is absolutely fucking insane. He might as well blame the groundsman for the pitch being too slick or the away dressing room being too comfy.

Not heard it, but if he’s talking about a player who’s not been in the squad for ages in response to that performance today, then that is some spectacular deflection taking place right there. First sign he’s shown of being under some real pressure. He hasn't. He ripped into the defending, ripped into Shawcross for the 1st goal, said he has told the team he will make changes and they won't need to ask why as today's performance is why, Changes will be made, He has kept some players in the team who he shouldn't have and they will be dropped now. Then at the end Bauer got brought up, he said he should stay off social media, actually work hard in training and he will get back in the team. He is currently not. Not his fault again then? What were the odds, poor Gary.

I thought Rowett was spot on, defenders aren't defending and not doing their job. He broke each goal down to say why poor and can't argue with him.
Indi and Ryan really pissed me off with their attitude and defending today. Even late on when we had momentum both did stupid fouls to loose the impetus and give Blackburn chance regroup.
Nice to have an honest meaningful interview.

Says everything that anyone who employed him should need to know to sack him. The offside goal against Swansea has kept us out of the bottom 3 today.....

Rowett said that Bauer had only trained for 20 minutes this morning which means 'I must have trained two or three times as hard walking the dog'
Quite scathing and very unusual for any manager to name and shame a player.
As that woman who rang Praise N Grumble said;
"We don't have a Jekyll and Hyde team..We have a Jekyll and Hide manager"

Yeah because Bauer hinting on social media that he won't be playing- when he's barely featured all season- really sealed the deal for Blackburn.
Just fuck off Rowett you pipe.

My god we are a total shambles on and off the pitch with no fucker at the club to grab these mercenary wankers by the bollox and sack them or somehow sort out a deal that fucks them off from the club they are helping to destroy and in that List I mean
Scholes Cartwright Shawcross Rowett Indi Butland Diouf Bauer
all part of 3 seasons of decline and relegation and maybe part of a double relegation if not to careful. Absolute joke we have become.

I'm not taking sides here because we don't know what's currently going on behind the scenes, and I certainly haven't heard the interview.
All that said, it's a bit stupid from Bauer isn't it?
He had a bit of a dig on Instagram before the Sunderland game and now this.
I don't think he's been treated right but he isn't the first and won't be the last. He'll get a move to another club but in the mean time he should just get his head down and work.
I'll listen to the interview before assessing Rowett but in all honesty, digging players out in public never, ever works.
We're in deep shit here. Real deep shit.

I’m sure Tony Mowbray didn’t need to go onto Bauer’s Instagram to know he wouldn’t have been playing, he hasn’t made the match day said for weeks.
Rowett is already losing the fans and I’m sure he’ll be losing a few players after today. Not that I have a problem with him calling out some of the of the pathetic excuses that took to the pitch today.

Just distraction tactics to try and get away from the debacle on the pitch. He should be a politician. Absolute bollocks. He admitted in his interview that he carries the can and that he has made mistakes by having too much faith in certain members of his defence. He's spot on. It's his biggest mistake by far, we needed another centre half through the door because Ashley Williams wasn't the answer, even though he should have replaced Shawcross a few games ago.

I like Bauer, but it's interesting that Crouch mentioned about someone last season turning up for training, doing the bare minimum, and plastering over social media about double sessions and how hard they work. It's a side shit show to the main shit show, but I'm with GR on this one. Get your head down and help us out. We bloody need it. Couldn’t have been Bauer as he has only recently had Twitter

Admitting a failure on the basis of ‘having too much faith’ in your players is a twat’s trick. It’s the David Brent way of saying ‘I know my faults. It’s their fault but I’m just too kind really’. It’s his team and his training. Own your mistakes GFR.
