This club will continue in free fall until someone has the courage to get this bloke out of the team.

Fuck off Rowett you fucking inaction man. Sitting there for two near halfs of fucking horrid shit from Allen and you don't have the balls to drop him. You're like I said, all talk no walk.

Does Allen have a clause in his contract that says he has to play a certain % of games per season? Or is that impossible to enforce?

That wont change the defence that does and will continue to concede at least 2 goals a a game. Scoring 2 goals away should result in a win.

He fcuked up for the equaliser but had a big hand in one of our goals.
Nobody deserves too much stick today but the two centre halves were the two worst on the pitch yet they get away with murder in comparison?

...you can do it with Allen. Drop him and play a #10 (Bojan) For an hour or so, despite what many have said, Allen did alright, but (as I said on another thread) with Woods bossing midfield surely we could afford the luxury of Bojan in place of Allen. And of course that should have been the first sub on about 70-75 minutes when little Joe's legs were clearly slowing down. To be fair to Rowett, we battered them for most of that match and should have been out of sight. Shame he didn't have the nous or the balls to make changes earlier. EDIT: and when he did bring Bojan on he wasted the sub by sticking him on the wing

Allen’s performance was one of his very worst today.....everything seemed to break down the moment it got near him. Surely he has to be dropped?

Him and Diouf couldn't string two passes together if they were the only people on the pitch

He also fucked up several of our chances going forward and somehow right after getting nutmegged. He got the ball to go forward again, he put through a shit pass to Reach's foot instead of Ince's and nearly gave the equalizer 5 mins before he bumbled over bannan on the edge. He was HORRID. He deserves all that stick he should be playing better than he is and his name is the only reason he is even out there he's been shit for weeks. The center halves didn't single handedly give away possession and a game tying free kick each time they touched the ball.

Preferably off a fucking cliff.

Even my wife who watches 1 in a 100 matches with me is like how did Etebo get subbed and Allen not? Jesus F'n christ she doesn't even get the offsides rule it was that bleedin obvious. I'm begining to believe everyone in management at Stoke is in dreamland. The sad thing is it is Chronic! Hughes, Lambert now Rowett!

why isn't bauer even in the team to get on for Diouf at the 60 mark when he's blowing out of his ass and with the performances of the last 4-5 games, you would have to say he's one that will need to be dropped. Allen even more so. Bojan at 10. Why not?

Only 2 things wrong with the game today; the manager and the result.
Controlled the game for 70 minutes and our shithouse manager doesn’t make any changes despite looking tired and on the ropes for a 10 minute spell. Everyone apart from Rowett can see changes were needed badly.
We don’t get managers who can make changes to affect games. GR makes MH look good.
Then when we concede, “I know let’s put Bojan on the wing and a coffin dodger in the centre”. Fuck off Rowett.

He was part of a midfield that bossed the game though and had we come off the pitch winning by 4 or 5 then there would have been no complaints overall.

Woods and Etebo bossed the midfield. Had we subbed him at the half for Bojan we would've had those 4-5 goals. Mate he was capital "A" Abysmal and a passenger until he gave away possession in the second.

We played with a good tempo in the first half and all three midfielders were at the heart of it. Allen included.

To put it with numbers;
Woods 90% Giveaways 1 Etebo 95% Giveaways 3 Allen 65% (78% if you count his successful crosses 3, from which he had 6 total) Giveaways 7
Which one is the £13 million player from last season? Because even the facts show he was garbage compared to Woods and Etebo today. His second half saw him drop 30-40% in passing to 53% for the half, first half he was on par with the other two with fewer passes.
Bojan, 4 passes 100% in his limited introduction.

The difference is that Woods and Etebo both looked very sharp today and made incisive passes. Joe stuck to his usual pattern this season of playing short balls that didn’t contribute much, or giving the ball away. He looks lost.

All I know is, we keep losing points and he keeps playing having poor games but keeps starting. If Rowett keeps his word Allen is benched versus Swansea. Will it happen? Most likely not.

His touch and passing were atrocious, the guy needs a spell out of the team.
