Would drop badou back to the bench and play 442. Reading Phillips comments on Berahino would give him a start alongside Afobe this week to see if he can actually do it.

If he doesn’t want to be here, he can go fuck hinself as far as I’m concerned. Based on what I’ve seen from him, he’s never going to amount to anything more than a midfield plodder who has a fucking horrific first touch and a bad attitude.

After Sunday’s no-show, I’d fook him off ASAP.......Bojan needs to start. We’re lacking creativity, and need him at the moment.

If Rowett does not drop him for Bojan and Bruno for Williams, then he wants shooting.
We have other options than playing a man who clearly is showing he does not want to be here. Added to the clunky midfield three not working, it is a no brainer for me.

His attitude will change once he realises he's here for the season.

It's an interesting challenge for the manager but also the player. If GR continues to play Badou and Badou continues acting this way and playing without effort, then he's hardly going to attract many offers. He might not "want" to be playing here anymore but he's got a contract so he fucking has to. If he wants to breach his contract and refuse to play - then fine he and his agents can buy us out.
Sad situation as I thought he looked really promising

I don't understand it.
How can you be a footballer, getting paid shit loads of money, and not be arsed about playing?
Once you pull on the shirt, walk on that pitch, 30000 people watching, surely you just want to enjoy the game and give everything?
I just can't believe it

It is possible, just to have a "bad day". Where every thing seems to go a step backwards.
He will need to make amends and show willing.
He is a professional footballer and 90 minutes of game time isn't to much to ask for

I think only Rowett is in a position to make that call. If he's worked hard in training and has the right attitude, play him. Simple.

It’s been heavily rumoured that he wants to leave but that doesn’t mean he’s been showing a bad attitude in training or with the rest of the squad. He was poor on Saturday but it doesn’t necessarily mean it was down to him wanting to leave.
Rowett doesn’t strike me as the type of guy to suffer fools gladly and if Badou’s attitude was a problem then don’t think he would have started him at Leeds. If he’s trained well this week and Rowett believes he’s the man for the job then I’m ok with that.

First half he looked like he didn't give a shit. Second half marginally better in that he got lose to the Leeds players who ghosted past him several times previously.
Your still paid by stoke so you play for stoke

I think Fletch will come in for Badou. Rowett was at pains to point out how much things improved when he came on at Leeds. Some choice that. A.pick a player who couldn't be arsed. B.pick a player who is well passed it. C.play a system where neither of them are on the pitch.

No passion, no fight, no interest - in playing for the club.
Put him with the U23s, sell him. Get rid ASAP - we cannot tolerate parasites.

From last weeks performance he doesnt deserve to be in the team, but Rowett sees him in training everyday and will be the best judge. One think is for certain, if we can ever even dream of scoring we need to play bojan, otherwise it wouldnt matter if we had Aguero up front or Gary Rowett. If the strikers have zero service they wont score. Suppose the other option may be fletcher in for N Diaye and then incorporate Berahino in the side and play 2 up top.

I would tell him that he can go in January if a decent offer came in for him. But I would also tell him that he will be Stoke player until that and everybody expect no less than 100% commitment from him during his time here.

He's apparently been making "come ride me" noises to others since end of last season, he doesn't seem to want to be here, so no I hope he doesn't play for us again. It's this type of self centred arrogant attitude that killing us. Let him rot if needs be Excuse my ignorance but what are "come ride me" noises? Just that he'd rather be anywhere else than Stoke Dave and has been whoring himself around to anyone that'd have him.

We could play an entirely different 11 on Saturday given how shit we are at getting players out the door! Unfortunately we could, however, I wouldn't press the panic button just yet. A lot will depend on how the players and Bsdou in particular have responded during the week. I would go be tempted to bring in Bojan for Badou and go 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1 but given how many players were awful I wouldn't be surprised to see the same starting XI with GR basically saying get out there and show it was a horrible one off.

If Badou does not play, or even get on the bench it will be pretty obvious that he and we have a problem.
I hope that GR can do some Man management and get him going again. If he is in “Sulk Can’t Be Bothered” mode get rid by selling abroad or loan.
I would hope the management are getting as fed up with the useless freeloaders as the fans are.

Based on last week no way, whether its attitude, form, or just a lack of gelling with the formation, it clearly didn't work out.
If I were rowett i'd want to send a clear message to him and the other players and leave him out completely. But he's had a week to sort it so its the managers call.... and his first big test in my eyes.

Was it him whoring himself around or his agent? We have Tom Ince in the ranks so maybe he now feels more at home with a like minded individual alongside him?

We looked marginally better when he was on. I’m by no means one of these googly eyed Bojan zealots who stick their fingers in their ears and pretend he’s still completely amazing and only a conspiracy the size of the Kennedy assassination is preventing him dazzling us all every week. But we’re crying out for creativity and he’s one of less than a handful of players on the books with that in his locker.
