Is anyone else struggling to register for Stoke City+? Can’t get past the registration form. Yeah same here mate It just keeps going back to the login screen Solved: It’s a mobile phone issue. Fire up your PC in Chrome and register there.

Great news this, I was worried also! Even if it’s a shit stream it’s better than clips or radio only like it was growing up in the states with the old man.

I tried a vpn to bet with bet 365 in Spain as outside uk but it was sussed so will it be the same to watch stoke Its weird, to me anyway. Couple of years ago I was in Amsterdam, tried to bet on 365 and it was blocked. Last week in Italy, I was on local hotel wifi and got straight on and placed a bet! I was in bilbao a few week ago and placed a bet on bet365 with no problems.... no VPN or anything. Another in our party tried the same and he couldn't... weird.

I think there might actually be an issue with the site. I've just been trying to change my password using Chrome and it just keeps sending you round in a loop to the beginning.

Interesting. "Except those on Sky". How many will that be? 1 per month? Usually the only way a weekend game isn’t at 3pm in the championship is if it’s on sky (no champions league rubbish) so count most of them out, but most mid week games that won’t be on sky will be viewable for uk guys, useful considering many won’t be able to get to away games mid week

I suppose there will be a choice between subscription per month, whole season price and hopefully pay per game.

NBC Gold is $50 again for the 2018-2019 season. Color me surprised with a baseball bat. I figured they would begin to incrementally creep up to a three figure season package price over a few years after last season. If they are smart, they'll offer monthly option down the road (didn't last season)...I noticed I was able to view quite a few games without the Gold package last year and may have opted that way this time around if we were in the PL. Again, the big club fans win because those matches are always aired.

iFollow offer the pack for a season at £110 for non-UK or £10 per game when available to UK viewers. You can bet Scholes has seen this and will charge more to fans as they’ll be paying for the streams and then marking up...

Harsh, the club have given us some of the cheapest season tickets for 10 years and they've restricted ticket prices this year. They've got their negatives, but ripping fans off isn't one.

I live here in UK but I'd be up for this and get that you'll need a VPN - but do you also need an address abroad for the registration as presumably you can't just use your English address?

This stopped me winning about £100 with me and wife betting on world cup final number of goals using the free £5 bet - couldn't log in as we were in Spain

I cancelled mine also, majority of people I meet are fringe non top 6 fans like Stoke, Leicester or Burnley types most have it so they can ensure to watch their team but losing more match rights I doubt many will renew. If the club offers a decent stream for the money I’ll be all over it. Looking at a few home and away matches to attend also.

Yep, I dropped it as well after last season (what was the point in keeping it?). I think I watched at least a third of last season's matches outside of the Gold package, but even at $50/season, the remaining games worked out to be a couple bucks per game which is downright one of the best deals on the web.

Also needs to support Apple mirroring to watch on my TV. I'm not sitting in front of a laptop for 2 hours!

I did see that ESPN is supposed to have a subscription (I think also $50) for EFL games from their app, non cup and non prem. Selected games from league 1 & 2 and nearly all Championship games Ooh really? Do you know any more details? Looks like the initial article I read was in fact overstated. As noted by Stoke711 there are only selected games, so not "nearly all" as I had stated. Sorry, had my hopes up as well until more research was done! Was actually planning on a subscription until I saw the detail. Now not so much.

And for us who use a VPN as well. Great news though, should help out a lot of people this. If anyone can give me bullet points to navigate this I too would be extremely happy.

Sorry, had my hopes up as well until more research was done! Was actually planning on a subscription until I saw the detail. Now not so much. I just signed up (monthly) for the occasional Stoke game. Good thing is that the $4.99/month covers all the other sports and specials, not just the EFL. I also got it in order to watch my old college FBS games on Saturdays (they used to be free on ESPN3 but are now look like they are on ESPN+ as well). ESPN+ doesn't appear to be tied in with having a required cable subscription w/ESPN like NBCSportsGold (NBCSports cable req.) was. Now, back to Stoke City FC and the question of streaming...

Just mulling this over, and the qualification of them showing "the majority" of games should not be overlooked, particularly if we do well. The club will have the right to show all games apart from "those selected for TV broadcast" - I haven't seen anything to suggest that this means only UK coverage, and I would assume that the restrictions are the same as they are for iFollow, who use the term "international broadcast"..
Now for the first two months that have been confirmed this season, four of our ten games are on telly. That puts us at 60% StokeCity+ coverage... I would assume that for the opening part of the season the TV companies spread their bets a bit about which games will be popular, but if we do well you can bet that Sky etc will be keener to show our games. Worth noting here that last season Villa and Leeds were both broadcast on TV *twenty-four* times - actually slightly more than half their games - and therefore ineligible for online streaming.
Not meaning to rain on the parade, I'm almost certainly signing up anyway, but it's worth bearing in mind. You tend to think of "the majority" as being 75 or 85% but if we have a good season I don't reckon much more than half of our games will be available.

Half the games is fine by me as long as the rest are televised and available via other streams or on down the pub. Would rather pay a monthly subscription for access to everything than per match but let's see. Maybe they'll give the pricing before the end of the year.
