Does a streamed game have to be watched live or will Stoke have the full game available to watch in your own time?

Thanks, 'bout damn time they said something.
Edit: Okay went to the website and I'm not trying to be a buzzkill, but we've all seen the word "shortly" before...
Edit number two: I'd like to think that all my (and others) bitching and moaning about this in other threads helped move some asses into action. Yep, that's what I'd like to think.

You may well be able to use a VPN to mask your country, but I believe you’ll struggle with payment of using a UK bank etc. I'm pretty sure unless you can prove you live outside the UK as part of your subscription the VPN is not the solution. Stoke would be in breach of their licence agreement so I expect a bit more due diligence than Acme Streams Inc. Not quite the case, a VPN is still the solution for anyone UK based. A VPN changes your IP address (the location of your PC or device) to create the illusion that you are based in another country... you will have the option to choose which country you want to be in. In this instance, you can choose anywhere as long as it's not the UK to get the game. The content owner or streamer (in this case Stoke) do have rules to follow, but they cannot control anyone using a VPN. Put it this way, only now are the largest media companies in the world (Netflix, Sky, NBC, Fox, AT&T) developing ways to prevent VPNs from working their magic and even then, they've only been able to stop a couple (Hola being the main one). If you watch via a VPN you will not have issues with this. The same goes for payment, a UK card is absolutely fine.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of camera coverage streams like this are likely to have? Best case scenario would be multiple cameras around the pitch with replays from multiple angles, and I guess worst case would be one camera on the half way line with no zoom. I have no idea what to expect. Try the game tomorrow vs St Pauli (for free at the Official Stoke City F.C. website). It should give us a hint.

But cannot now because of two reasons; It recognizes my internet as UK even using NORDVPN and as they want bank account as non uk to pay for the premiums. They may use DAZN technology so it may not work...

Couple of years ago I was in Amsterdam, tried to bet on 365 and it was blocked. Last week in Italy, I was on local hotel wifi and got straight on and placed a bet!

Fantastic news. I’ll be interested to see how it’s priced. I was able to stream every Premier League game last year for $50 (with the exception of those broadcast live on TV) through the NBC Gold service and would be happy enough if this was similarly priced. Ditto Somehow the figure of $8 per game has popped into my head .... 46 games ...... $368 Yikes!

I definitely placed bets in Croatia on Bet 365, and live streamed the FC Thun match, with a native, local internet connection. Was back then mind...

I believe a figure of not more than $3 to $4 /game would be the upper limit for most fans, anything more and they may have diminishing returns. Frankly, we're not watching in a top tier league this year, but it will be interesting to see what the price point is. I haven't check NBC Gold to see if they've increased they're fees from last season for PL games--I expect they did or will do so.

I did see that ESPN is supposed to have a subscription (I think also $50) for EFL games from their app, non cup and non prem. Selected games from league 1 & 2 and nearly all Championship games

Have to wait for more details.
I have a season ticket but miss a few games at the start and end of the season.
Whilst in thePrem Lge it was never a problem as I could visit a taverna where ever I was and use their WIFI to stream the game.
I don’t mind paying but will I have to have a permanent IP adress ? If so it’s no good for me.

Brilliant news, we moved to Portugal last year.... however I am a useless old bugger when it comes to IT. We have a Samsung smart TV on which we are able to use the interweb, will we therefore be able to watch on our telly or have to use the windows 10 laptop ? Any help on what we need to do is much appreciated. I have a Panasonic smart TV and can watch streamed videos through internet connection so I would imagine a Samsung would be similar.
