1/8 it is.
A year ago I dreamt of a final. It was before I knew Ken Sema wasn't picked as a winger (instead Janne Andersson went for many central midfielders: Larsson, Rohdén, Hiljemark, Svensson etc). It was before I knew attacking midfielder/forward Gouddos have chosen Iran at the WC instead, due to a lack of initiative from the swedes. Then when the squad list was official I lowered my expectations considerably. Only 4 forwards among those 23 players. Why so many defenders, why som many midfielders? It was like a Stoke C FC relegation battle déjà vu - an unbalanced team/squad.
Switzerland have been good. But I Think there is a chance. Even though Shaqiri is there.
GUIDETTI - our hope, they say. I wonder. Nowadays at Deportivo Alavés. He should have played Forsberg in front of goal instead of taking a shot vs Germany. Now Durmaz got all the blame for us losing a point. Has Guidetti played the ball we had won 3 points. Doesn't matter now, but ...
KIESE-THELIN - at Beveren. Promising when he was younger. Now he only gets free kicks against him, for just being bigger.
TOIVONEN - on the bench and sometimes not even there, at Toulouse. But always delivers at National level - that's strange.
BERG - at Al Ain. Many goals there (25 in 21 games), but hasn't scored for Sweden in 10 games. Crystal clear penalty vs Germany he didn't get. It's his time!
I reckon it will be a 4-4-2-formation, without any surprises.

Good luck to your team Musik. England v Sweden next then? Thanks. Good Luck You too (vs Colombia)! It could be: that would be tricky for us. I wish we had been on each side in that tree, both reaching the final.

I have no idea which way this one will go. Both teams are awkward to play against.

The Swiss have the flair but it aint going to be pretty! A couple of hefty tackles on Shaq could see him disappear. Both difficult opponents if we get through!

I have a feeling this is going to be a snoozefest. Like I said yesterday, it seems that the games that have at least one non-European team tend to be more exciting. European teams tend to be too tactical, too calculated. Euro 2016 was so much more boring than Copa America 2016 for this reason.

Very best of luck today.
I have a feeling it will be a grueller. Both sides nervous, potentially aware of the size of the prize in front of them. Expecting a tight affair, but i do fancy Sweden because of their set piece danger.
Penalties would not surprise me.

Although I'd love Shaq to score a stunner, I reckon 2-0 to Sweden.

I think Sweden will win the world cup, and I'm not even trying to be supportive of musik or any other Swedes. I just happen to think Sweden has the very best collective and they are completely unflappable. Barely a star player in sight, but every one will die for each other. I especially like Ekdal, Granquist and Toivonen. Granquist is too old, but the other two have Stoke player written all over them.

Shaqiri getting lots of mentions, bit of a dull game, Berg upfront for Sweden is a bit like Diouf with his finishing.

You'd think the Swiss have too much quality but with comedy centre half Djourou being drafted in who knows? Either way how irritating is that twat Lawrenson? ?

Shaq 'panned' by Phil Neville in the pre-match, called him a 'disgrace for Stoke City' while the other panelists listened on open mouthed!
I don't think that's fair at all from Neville, I admit I'm biased, I fecking love Shaq but no one even half objective could agree with Neville on that point.

Sweden missed loads of sitters; if they and us get through, what chance they bury every shot against us?
