Takes proper bottle to tuck a chance like that away in the last minute. Imagine Dioufy on that one

Great, that's added a few £million Seriously, let's face it, he is leaving pretty much no matter what (barring bad injury). I'm hoping he has 10 more goals this tournament. More money for us. I like the little guy too.

Who was the last Stoke player to score at a World Cup before Shaq? Odemwingie vs Begovic wasn’t it?

When you see him do that for Switzerland, it certainly makes you wonder why he spent a lot of his time here just tucking inside from the right wing and playing the easy ball. We hardly ever saw that type of pace from him in 4 years here. Mark Hughes managed him.

He’s been rinsed by a lot of the press. That’s 2 fingers up to them.

Yet there are people on here who want him sold and others calling for the like of Walters back.
Stoke fans gotta love 'em.

Who was the last Stoke player to score at a World Cup before Shaq? I think Odemwingie had one last tournament when he was still with us? Against Bego too.

We all know what he is capable of. This clause really pisses me off more than ever!

& that's what happens when you don’t tie him to the wing.
Superb finish.

Incoming bid for Shaqiri ALERT!
Shame he has that relegation sale clause, as that goal would have added an extra 5m to his price!

Great, that's added a few £million How? Because if any club was prepared to pay £12m they would have bought him before now. Now we might get his release price.

I have criticised him at times, but I thought Shaqiri was genuine class in that game. What a winner! 😁

Because if any club was prepared to pay £12m they would have bought him before now. Now we might get his release price. He was never going to go for less than that £12m relegation clause. £12m in today's market is stupidly low but that's our stupid fault.

Wonder what it'd take to persuade the fella to stay? Given the freedom to play in his preferred role, under a manager who can see that that's the way to get the absolute best out of him, he'd tear the Championship apart.
