For me Leeds and Derby.
Leeds - because they have a good manager and look like spending big. If they get Foden they could be very strong.
Derby - Lampard - not because he’s a good manager but because he’ll pull a few strings and up with a team of the country’s best young players. Without sounding like I’m bleating I don’t agree with the number of loans your allowed in the Championship.
Boro will be strong again also but I’m feeling really positive about us this season. Good manager looking to bring in some very good players.

West Brom because they still have a good team and I like their manager
Middlesbrough ( As above)
I don’t reckon Derby or Leeds will cause too many issues this year, Lampard seems to be a bit of a gimmick to me and Leeds will sack anyone after six months

Usual suspects like Sheffield Utd, Villa, Derby. Can't really see Leeds or Forest doing a lot. Maybe Boro.
My top 6 will be:- Stoke Villa Derby Blades Boro Ipswich.

The 23 other teams. In this league you never know. I'm quietly optimistic, but the willy waving from some of our fans could come back to bite us strongly on the arse.

I think Potter will get them firing. I think our biggest problem may be ourselves. We are going to come unstuck along the way. Do we have the patience to ride it out and manage expectations in a sensible way? That said. I think we do and we will be a force next season.

I expect promotion. End of.

Pre May 2013 - I'm going to moan my bag off about everything, find fault in any tiny detail, nothing will ever be good enough for me. May 2013 - Jan 2018 - Make excuses for everything that goes wrong, accuse everyone else of having an agenda. May 2018 onwards - Back to moaning my bag off about everything, find fault in every tiny detail, nothing will ever be good enough. It's getting boring already, mate. Have we really got to suffer you in this mode again for all of Rowett's time here?

The post assumes that we are going to be the front-runners. Plenty of relegated teams before us have had the intention of bouncing back first time, they have spent the money on it and they have failed. Exhibit A: Aston Villa.
Lets start winning some games before we start having this conversation

Bit of a daft question with 6 weeks still to go before the season kicks off. It seems none of our rivals in the Champs have made any signings or departures other than Forest who have spent 15m on a Portuguese guy who has played a couple of games for Benfica. So how can anyone make predictions at this stage. The only thing that's apparent is that there are 3 rookie managers in teams expected to be in the top half who could be great or simply hopeless.

We are going to be one of the teams that everybody wants to beat, so it is not going to be easy, especially in the first half of the season. No game will be easy, and we are going to have to start winning away games. We have not done that for some time.
I am looking foreward to it, optomistic, but also cautious.
Answer to the OP question; All of them plus ourselves.

But out of that I feel Villa with everything going on would be huge overachievers if they finished in the top 6. I worry for them. Swansea and the Baggies are hit and miss, I just don't see them making the positive moves like we've started doing (might have missed something). Leeds if they hit the ground running and stick with a manager for longer than a long weekend very well could be. Momentum can be huge. Look at Leicester the season they went on a run at the end of the season to stay up and what happened when they started the following season in the same vein. Based on the last 10 matches of last season we'd need to be wary of Sheffield Wednesday, Boro and Millwall...

I reckon it is going to be a mega tough season and we could well endure a difficult start to the campaign. We'll need to be patient but hopefully we can get our act together and come on strong when it matters.
We remain, in my opinion, some way short of what will be required to bounce straight back up. Hopefully that can be addressed in the weeks ahead.

We are the bigger club these days and that will show if we are in the hunt for the same players. Most Stoke fans are under no illusions as to how difficult it is for teams who have just been relegated but we certainly won't be dreading a trip back to the 70's when we visit Elland road, because I don't know if you were about when we were last slumming it in the lower divisions with you, but if you were you might remember that we handed your filthy arses to you on a big fuck off 14" dinner plate like the one that Alan Partridge used to carry around with him, and all this in the so called Helland Road
