Glad we won’t be involved with any of those 19:45 kick offs on a Saturday night.

I'm sure I read a way to watch Championship football next season for those who can't make games?
Is there a service to subscribe? I personally intend on going as many as time allows me but be nice to have the option of a decent stream or whatever?

But the club needs to sign up for it.

If it drives up my annual subscription to Amazon then I won't be impressed in the slightest. If however it remains the same (£79.99, I think) then it's good.

not sure if it's still a deal, but if you get the telegraph for 100 a year, they throw the amazon prime in gratis.
yes, before you all say, "it's the torygraph though", by far for the best for adult interviews in sport and culture and arts.

I used to be dead against the idea of a European Super League. I used to think if you took Man United, Liverpool, Arsenal etc out of the domestic game it would destroy it. I used to think it was completely unfair introducing a higher level of football without relegation and promotion, denying teams below hope of ever getting there. I used to think it was unfair that we would never have access to the big time, that we would lose out on money and a better quality of player.
Now, I'm more than happy for English football to shed a few blue chip names in order to get our game back. Fuck them off, let them go. I used to be proud that we had the so called best league in the world, that everyone was jealous of our domestic game. It's a curse though, not a blessing.
Fuck em off and start again.

Am I right in understanding that Amazon basically have all the games from only 2 days over the entire season?
If so, that's fucking shit. Who would join Amazon just for that.

Correct - both in the month of December, one of which is Boxing Day and most of them simultaneously broadcast - so out of those twenty games you could only actually watch two of them live (ok possibly a couple more depending on staggered kick off on Boxing Day) - he rest would have to be on catch up Seems to me the Premier League didn't get the interest they expected and I wouldn't be surprised to find that they have virtually given this away (relatively speaking) just to get a streaming model out there. The second "unsold" package went to BT - again I suspect - at a knock down.

To be honest, this could be a really good thing, and I don't see why there cant be relegation and promotion to the Super League? I don't know how it would work with all the different Football Associations wanting equal representation but I think it would be a great idea. It would make the Europa League achievable for smaller clubs and stop the wank rule where Man City or whatever drop into the Europa League from the Champions League. Just trying to think how relegation / promotion would work, where say its only the smaller La Liga clubs or Portuguese clubs probably finishing bottom most years. Maybe a bottom 6 ? and the champions of every Association involved get a birth? I do think it would be a good idea
