What sort of player is he? Play maker/ball player, operates through the middle of midfield or from wide left if my knowledge is legit.

"I know Osborn gets a bit of stick from some fans but he always puts the effort in and he always works hard. He gets up and down that flank like nobody’s business. He’s full of energy – that’s his biggest asset. And he’ll always try his best.
He’s a useful player to have in the squad because he’ll play almost anywhere.
The good thing is he’s still young, even though it feels like he’s been around for a long time, and he’s still learning.
I’d like to see him have a go at goal more often, like he did at Bolton Wanderers on Sunday. He showed what he can do with that strike – he struck it really well and it was a brilliant finish. But sometimes he’ll try to pass the ball to someone else rather than take a shot himself. That’s something he needs to work on."

Cheers! Seems a tad underwhelming but a player managers love.
Just from the brief descriptions and his record he seems like Stephen Pearson!

He's a touch on the short side, the next James O'Connor perhaps!?
Hope we haven't given up on keeping Joe and Badou.

The 2 Bens - Pearson and Osborn - and Mo Besic, and that'll do us!

If he's going to 4-2-3-1, he'll probably go with 2 solid, grafting runners in the '2'? He's pretty conservative, isn't he? Even if he goes to the 3-4-2-1 kind of thing he switched to in the play-offs, the only flourishes in his personnel seem to be come at the top of his formation. He's going to be attracted to solid hard running types, isn't he?

He had him on loan at Brum while he was there and was their player of the season. Joined Hull for 3m last summer but hasn’t pulled up any trees.

I can't get used to us being referred to us a "big club" so often, especially from journalists/fans you wouldn't expect to hear it from. Osborn sounds like a good signing, and only 23. Sign him up!

Sentinel said he had but they might have got it wrong The Sentinel said he had been told not to come training and that he no future didn't they? Nothing was ever concrete and tbh the whole thing is a bit of a mystery and unless what he said was racial or something really horrible a tad ott.

This just seems like because he was after him when Rowett was in charge of Derby then it’s a forgone conclusion that he will be after him again. Just Journalists trying to justify a living while nothing is happening
