Allardyce has done well most places he's gone. It's his style of football that saw him out the door at West Ham, Newcastle and Everton. Think we'll be less fussy tbh.

Mourihno, Ancelloti, Luis Enrique, Mancini, and Benitez have all been sacked but I wouldn't turn any of them down. Attracting away from peers and even a division below isn't always straightforward as we found with Rowett. Graham Potter, Dean Smith or someone like Danny Cowley might fit the "up and coming" profile - but would be a huge risk - particularly when we seem to have a dysfunctional bunch of incompetents upstairs by way of managerial infrastructure. You might get the next Sean Dyche - but you might also get the next Frank de Boer.

For your information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_AllardyceI think you should study the above. He would demand a fortune, bring all his cronies, make outrageous demands, possible get us involved in some trickery, and wouldn't bat an eye at walking away from us if someone else wanted him, although I can't think who possibly could. You don't mention Sunderland, where he took over in October and just avoided relegation by one place thanks to Newcastle being managed by Steve McClaren.

Not a bad appointment by Palace who’d been set up by Allardyce a polar opposite as they should have know and been prepared to give him time or else not made such an appointment that guaranteed radical change.

Would you pay your manager a fraction of what Wimmer Berahino or Imbula get. Discipline problem, I wonder why?

I'm satisfied with Ranieri.✌️ You're one of the best posters on here Musik but on this I think you're wrong. Top managers want clubs that are already in the Champions League, will pay mega bucks or are a massive club and already have a solid base to work with. They most certainly wouldn't drop to the Championship and we most certainly won't pay a top wage anyway. I'd be happy with Ranieri too though.

I was thinking this. The manager merry go round is getting crazy now, clubs searching out other clubs cast offs is a joke! It's like the failed shop assistant that gets sacked from Sainsbury's & ends up at Tesco before heading onto Asda!
Paul Hurst if Shrewsbury don't get promoted would be well worth a leftfield punt.. He's highly rated & has turned Shrewsbury into a club that's almost playing on a level playing field as us.
That's the issue the club face. Go for experienced manager & it's likely be a dinousaor has been. Whereas someone whose relatively unknown from the lower leagues or abroad is a big gable with likelihood of going spectacularly wrong as it to be a success. Tricky times.

There isn’t one that WONT be sacked-it will happen to every one of them. They’re all failures waiting to happen if you think about it’s only ever a matter of time. On that positive note, I fancy Maradona. Sacked a few times and a massive Coke habit. Di Canio as Head Coach to offer a bit of stability. The fucking training ground will be like a cross between The Shield and Narcos- this is the foundation we need.
