Man of integrity and decency just couldn’t do the job. This, the guy put a shift in - it wasn't good enough, but he tried a damn sight harder than the previous incumbent. Thanks for kicking out some of the laggards and good luck in the future.

Just because he's gone, I won't soften my position. He was a disastrous appointment. I'm glad he's gone and he doesn't go with "thanks" because under his watch we went down. There's really fuck all to be thankful for! Endeavour, work ethic if nothing else. He didn’t take the piss like a few others. Yes, those aspects did improve however they were trumped by results and while you could appreciate his efforts the overall bigger was unsuccessful and we got relegated. I cannot thank Lambert (nor indeed Hughes) for overseeing the debacle of relegation

Played the best game he could with a very weak shitty deck of cards. Whilst ultimately his points return was not good enough I shall be grateful to him for stopping the humiliation week in week out and unearthing the catastrophic embarrassing indiscipline in that squad.
Ultimately that has saved the new manager 3 months in finding that out.

I cannot thank Lambert (nor indeed Hughes) for overseeing the debacle of relegation Hughes was the instigator of the disaster without doubt, Shambert put the cherry on top of the shit cake ! wrong appointment but we knew that when we appointed him, he failed in the task he accepted both failed abysmally both thankfully have gone but so have we as collateral damage. The main culprits in this mess are still in place let's not forget that fact.

Lambert did what he could. He made our defensive position more compact and it showed. Goals allowed were drastically fewer after he came in charge. Unfortunately goals scored were drastically lower even against poor sides. At the end of the day he walks away with an even worse points per game record than Hughes had this season.
Don't hate him but glad we'll find somebody fresh to hopefully lead us back to the Premier League as soon as possible.

Massive respect to Paul. He wanted the job when no-one else wanted it and gave us some pride back. He was also very complimentary about the fans and SoT in general.
Not his fault for Adam’s pen or red card, not his fault for Butland’s own goal. Not his fault Diouf forgot how to play football. Ultimately he failed in his task but I believe he has stopped the rot by identifying the problem players
Good luck in the future mate and thanks for giving it your best

As someone said , two goals off keeping us up
One to change a defeat to a draw ( diouf passes to one Spurs guy instead of four stoke ) One to change a draw into a win ( Charlie Adam penalty miss ? Butland own goal ? Take your pick )
Threw his heart and soul into and nearly pulled it off
Genuinely tried his best , unlike ( let's turn a blind eye into unacceptable behaviour from Jesse berahino wimmer et Al ) Hughes
I actually believe Lambert that the ' good guys ' tried their best and the others were totally unproffesional , forcing his hand to take action
It's a shame it didn't work out
He might not own as many as bentley's and properties as mark Hughes But he was a lot less annoying And at least he gave his best shot
