It’s a sick horror show & an absolute disgrace It's also destroyed any chance in the foreseeable future of any peace deal between Israelis and Palestinians. Both sides will use the moving of the American Embassy to Jerusalem as an excuse to advance their own agendas. Result...more death, destruction and carnage in 'The Holy Land'. The most disputed territory on earth.

50 odd Palestinian's dead, one Israel soldier with a plaster on a grazed elbow.
That's your 'proportionate' Israeli response. A vile rogue state encouraged in its acts of genocide by a despicable lunatic in the White House.

Seems to me, admittedly from a distance, that Trump is desperately trying to engineer a war somewhere.
Syria, North Korea, The Middle East. Somewhere comfortably far away from The USA. Not the drugs trade in Columbia e.g. where the US might get collateral damage. Or Mexico, his first seeming attempt, which would definitely have direct consequences for US citizens in border states.
Wars stimulate economies, particularly in the industries in which many of Trump's buddies + supporters operate. They give countries a chance to show off military might ... making them look "great again" to their own populace. They also improve leaders' popularity ratings, at least temporarily.
As for the shootings, I heard on the radio another 2000 protesters were injured as well as the dead. Will the UN have the balls to investigate a potential "war crime"?

Although Trump is really close to the Israelis and netenyahu, Israel killed over 1,400+ palestinians during operation “cast lead” in 2008 when Obama was president, all American presidents are biased towards Israel, the lobby makes sure if they’re not they will pay a massive price politically. Obama increased military and financial aid to Israel to record levels under his presidency, I think netenyahu will be more brazen under trump but essentially whoever is president they know they can do whatever they please without repercussions. Only when obama was leaving office did he abstain from one vote on Israel, the rest of the time he voted in their favour.

Without American backing Israel would be powerless in the Middle East. They would have been forced to reach some kind of compromise with the Palestinians a long time ago.

The IDF should not have been using live ammunition unless they were absolutely certain they were shooting hamas scum, so far I've seen mention that at least 13 of the dead were part of hamas security forces but what do you actually imagine would happen if they had let the crowd through the fence and they headed for the nearest israeli town / school.

The amount of Noraid money that came over from Yanksville cause of Bloody Sunday.

Gerrymandering and internment caused Bloody Sunday, unless noraid was funding the British army. They were the ones doing the shooting ,after all.

West Bank is known as the biggest open prison in the world. The hospitals have non of the basics to treat the injured with, like antibiotics. So in answer to your question, no, they don't have anything better to protest about...

The Palestinian authorities budgeted for 670 million in foreign aid in 2017 They set aside 345 million the pay stipends to the families of Palestinians who kill Israelis Its true the PA financially supports the families of people held under Israeli military law. Its an unusual situation to be illegally occupied and have anotger nation exercise military law over your people. Throwing a stone at an armoured vehicle is 20 years. People of all ages can be held without trial for many years, their families often losing their incomes. Israel often withholds Palestines taxes (Yes they don't even have sovereignty over their tax system), and did so when Palestine joined the ICC for instance. So aid is vital in this. Sadly I agree a lot is wasted as Israel demolishes and destroys much that is built as it wishes. In the last 10 years a couple of hundred Israelis have died at the hands of Palestinians, several thousand Palestinians have died at the hands of Israelis in the same period . Pretty much all of these on Palestinian land in 1967 terms. And by far the majority of those murdering Palestinians will not be tried or convicted in Israeli Courts. In any courts.

Palestinian lives do not matter to anyone, after more than 30 years they still live in refugee camps as their fellow arab neighbours don't care a jot for them. Moving the embassy is just an excuse, this shit would still be happening if it had moved or not, just like the IRA had to accept they could not bomb their way to a united ireland, hamas has to accept Jerusalem in part or whole will be the capital of Israel, then you might actually see some improvement in the lives of ordinary palestinians.

Payments to people suffering under Israeli occupation I would refer you to Taylor force Force was attack and killed in a Palestinian attack while on holiday The attacker was killed by security forces The attackers family received a lump sum and are still getting a monthly salary In March this year, under the Taylor force provision, the US cut aid to Palestinian by 140 million ,which they claim is the amount paid by the PA annually, to Palestinians responsible for acts of terrorism and murder This 140 million is out of US aid only It does not take into account any stipend payments from aid received from elsewhere Taylor force was not Israeli, but american

Palestinians still live in refugee camps in the West Bank too as it keeps alive the hope of returning to their ancestral land. And in my opinion Hamas is not the problem here, certainly in terms of accepting anything, they are a symptom of the problem. All Palestinians see their capital under occupation, they all want to go there, if they could. Most have relatives/ friends there that they can't see. Im not sure the acceptance of the occupation of Jerusalem will improve the lot of Palestinians. They could all learn Hebrew and get the star of David tattooed on their forehead and they would still just be an unwanted demographic in greater Israel. They can never have an effective second state now, there as there isn't one there, settlements have destroyed it. And they can never be absorbed into Israel while it remains a Jewish state. That's it. Theres nothing the Palestinians can do to change this. No amount of being nice and quiet and accepting their occupiers will make them Jewish and that's the qualification you need to be welcomed into democratic Israel.
