I hope he takes the money shoves it with his England bung money and fucking retires somewhere far far away. We need something NEW he's basically failed again, yes ok he got them mid table upwards (I suspect they would have ended up near there had they kept Koeman) but they still don't like him or his style so he's out....abject failure He really hasn’t failed at Everton, he’s done exactly what they asked him. I agree to an extent but if he had anything about him once they were up the table he could have tried to be a little different more adventurous call it what you want but no just like these other dinosaurs of British management they can only do the same things and play the same way wherever they go. There will undoubtably be a time when they eventually become extinct however by then their pay offs for failure will see them retired to sunnier climes

He really hasn’t failed at Everton, he’s done exactly what they asked him. He's failed massively to live up to his own billing. They were 13th when he went there. They'd been struggling but they were hardly dead and buried and they always had the talent to get themselves out of it. Allardyce has always maintained he's more than just a firefighter but once again, he's had his chance with a big club and rather than taking it, he's turned them into Bolton again. I’m pretty sure they were 18th when he took over.

Big Sam is out of the question.
He won't come to the Championship. Coates won't pay what he'd want.

Big Sam is out of the question. He won't come to the Championship. Coates won't pay what he'd want. Or he will come on the condition of the wage and x amount to spend. It’s worth investigating

It’s worth investigating We'd be mad not to ask. Especially now he looks like he's out of work. There are some aspects of the Stoke job that I think would appeal.

I'd like to see Sam given the project he'd be able to put steel in the team and balance it with a little bit of flair he's done it in the past especially with Bolton with the likes of Anelka and jay jay okocha and the steel of players like Kevin Davies and Kevin Nolan. He'd probably be able to build a team around bojan given the tools. People who say he wouldn't come that's not necessarily the case PC could easily pay the wages to attract him plus I don't feel he'd want to retire on the back of being hounded out by everton.

FFS get a manager to try to get promoted playing some attacking football. Then at least if you don't make it it's been an enjoyable ride. Fuck going back to Pulisball because that's all we're any good at. What a shit opinion to hold of your own club.

No,not at all.In my humble opinion Sam is a very good bet to get us promoted and also has a more than decent record of keeping teams in the premier league,so yet again in my humble opinion if we did get him he is the man for a good 3 to 4 seasons.

I'd take Big Sam over Moyes and would love to see him tear Cartwright and Scholes a new one Those two would probably be the reason he would not come to us. He would want complete control of the football side of the business. Personally I'd trust Big Sam more than the dangerous brothers, and that's saying something.

His Bolton team played decent football, so did west ham to an extent he gets wrongly labelled a long ball merchant but there's more to him than that.

It's long, its turgid, its defensive, it's boring as fuck, its horrible to watch. That's why he gets fucked off from everywhere he goes.

He could’ve played good stuff at Everton. He manifestly hasn’t.

Well he won’t have so many tools to be too fancy here - it’s promotion by any means necessary in my book.

Big Sam has been my first choice since TP left. Fuck me its a meeting of the disciples of shit football. For me results matter much more than style of play. On the other hand I think it's a myth that we only played shit football under TP's reign. In fact we had a lot of wonderful games as well, but of course we had some shit ones. I think you could say the same about Huhes' tenure (is this expression ok here by the way?) here too.

Well he won’t have so many tools to be too fancy here - it’s promotion by any means necessary in my book. May I ask why? Why he won’t have the tools? We won’t attract the quality of player he had at West Ham or Everton whilst in the Championship. There won’t be the silly “West Ham way” or “school of science” nonsense to live up to either. Most Stoke fans generally want hard working, fast paced football with a sprinkling of stardust and he can deliver that.
