It will be a shitty loan move only where we are covering some of his wages Yep. The reports indicate there's a purchase option. But with their transfer record standing at about 25% of what we paid for Wimmer (for Joselu, several years ago!) ....and their top earner supposedly on about 40-45k-a-week, it's pretty hard to see it happening Mind you, if he's got a 40% wage drop built into his contract, suppose that'll reduce his deal here to about what he could get as a top earner there?

If we could get 5m for him and his wages off the books I’d be over the moon. Even just someone paying his wages next season would be great.
Just Berahinio and Imbula next....

The whole Wimmer thing is totally baffling.
We didn't even need him.
We paid well over the odds for him, huge money.
He was 'OK', nothing more.
He looked overweight.
Fell out of favour.
Got even fatter.
Disappeared off the face of the earth.
Loan move back to Germany.
Weird.

If this deal goes through this has to go down as the strangest signing in the clubs history! Who out of our scouting team sanctioned a club record fee for a player who only made a handfull of Premier League appearances in 3 years? I know Levy has previous for having our pants down but fook me! It borders on money laundering! Someone needs pulling out of our firing line and sharpish.

If this deal goes through then the club could really do themselves a favour and come out and tell exactly what has gone on.

What I still want to know is which idiot was willing to pay £18M for Wimmer!!?? Anybody with a bit of understanding for football would never have paid more than £5M for him! And the money we are paying for this heap of shit as well makes me really pissed!

I think youll find that the process is working just fine. Mr. Coates said so. Wimmer was just the last of the laughable signings we made, without taking due diligence on. If we take take the due diligence and still signed Imbula, Berahino, and Wimmer, then either the process is right royally fooked, or youre right, there is some money laundering going on. Whichever way, were now going down because of these stupid decisions.

What’s the point of a loan unless there’s a clause put in to buy. I’d rather we sold him now for 5m than loaned him till his contract runs out and we get no fee.

If Levy was an ice cream seller he would get £25 for a small cornet! I think he may be related to the ice cream seller I bought 7 ice creams from on the South Bank a few years ago. You really don't want to know how much that came too.

Beyond utterly bamboozling.
Still not quite sure how 2/3rds of those responsible have managed to avoid blood on their hands after this one and several others.
I bet TS was very, very keen that LMH signed a very watertight compromise agreement asap so he & Farto wouldn't bet dobbed in.
Surely the money wasted alone has got to have made PC's hackles stand up.
Not saying Lambert is wrong in sending him & others to Coventry - they have been beyond useless without question - but it shows that the board really are backing him all the way.
Sadly, a prospect I find utterly depressing.
