Moyes, Hughes, Pulis, Allardyce. Pulis would be an amazing appointment Pulis would be a disaster, you think the support is split now!

Mick McCarthy would have no trouble getting us out of that league, but I don't know if he would keep us up afterwards. He would sort out a lot of the problems with the current squad, too.

I think its more of a, who will be willing to come to Stoke. You can make your lists but the only candidates will be the ones know body else wants, hence why we have Lambert and unfortunately he will stay.

Mick McCarthy - has an excellent record in the championship, is a good rebuilder and has a track record of taking teams back up again. Dean Smith - Has worked wonders on a shoestring at both Walsall and Brentford whilst still playing attractive football - deserves a crack at a bigger club. Alex Neil - has Preston punching well above their weight this season, also has a record of success with Norwich. David Moyes - free agent at end of the season and seems to thrive at clubs where he has a hands on chairman. Few stains on his record, but re-built Everton. Phil Parkinson - performed miracles at Bradford and has done well to bring Bolton back into the championship despite having his hands tied behind his back. Neil also has a record of failure at Norwich, where they probably held on to him for toolong, hoping that he would turn things around.

Rowett seems wary of a lack of funds at Derby next campaign... Their fans seem increasingly wary of him... Would he be especially different to Lambert?

Nothing wrong with bloke we have.
I don’t think Big Sam or Moyes is any upgrade.

What's the point in drafting up names like this, Lambert will be in charge, no doubt about it for me Hopefully for the first 10 games only when Coates will realise that he isn’t the man for the job. Alternatively we’ll stick with him till January then realise with 15 games to go that we’re not going to make the play offs and he’ll come out and say: “What’s all the fuss about?” 🙄

Slaviša Jokanović if Fulham don't go up this season, he was at odds with the board earlier in the season if they don't go up he may fancy a move

If that can't be QSF or Jakanovic or similar (as I doubt our soon to be curtailed income won't now fund the once fabled 'project'), then we have to think outside of the 18yrds and look at bods like Cook, 100%.
Currently though, I bet he wouldn't even get in the 'in' pile due to the cretinous "must have PL experience" criteria we and other clubs almost certainly would have that keeps the same old dinosaurs re-circulating in the bottom half - and makes the inevitability of either failure and / or disasterously bad football a self-fulfilling prophecy.
See Allerdyce, Moyes, Pulis, Lambert, Pardew and Hughes etc for details.
And I doubt our current board would even flex that criteria despite the small consideration of which league we'll be playing in next season.

If Fulham fail to get promoted, we should go all in for Jokanovic. He would need to get promoted and then prove himself to be horrifically out of his depth in the Premier League to make it on to the Coates shortlist.
