I imagine today will go down as one of those folklore moments for the Mackems. Losing at home to Burton and going down the the third tier... grim
Sort it out Stoke 🤮

I wonder whether another tram starting with the letter S will be relegated from the Championship next season?

For awhile it seemed like the club could do no wrong, yet the past 2 years they have made bad decision after bad decision and we've hit the dreaded downward spiral, i fear we could end up struggling if we're relegated. The club needs an internal shake up but that comes with a high risk, we only have to make a few bad decisions/appointments and before you know it we could be in sunderlands current predicament.

I wonder whether another tram starting with the letter S will be relegated from the Championship next season? So you think Shrewsbury are going to win the playoffs

It took 5-Live a while to work it out. Wonder if there are any Sunderland supporters blissfully unaware that they've already been relieved of the stress caused by the tiniest glimmer of hope.

If ever we needed a lesson, then this is it. Aye, it's a timely reminder not to be too complacent for a further year. I'm sure they won't. I think.

Just shows what an average manager Coleman is too. In fairness, there's only Big Sam out of the past 257 managers they've had in the past 10 years who was able to get anything out of them. They've become almost unmanageable.

Just shows what an average manager Coleman is too. Don’t talk daft, the club is a basket case Moyes ( who spoke about the running of the club whilst there ) Grayson and Coleman are not bad managers..the bizarre thing is why the last two went there knowing that

No real affinity! H Coleman in particular had a cast iron job already mate and would have had very good souters after his services once they knew he’d leave the Welsh job so why he chose Sunderland was bizarre I honestly think we’d of gone for him

Sadly i think we will be the next Sunderland all the signs are there a board who seem clueless or they would have done something to arrest our decline 18 months ago. A manager who is way out of his depth who had winnable games when he arrived but failed to do so. A squad of players not fit for purpose & not fit for 90 minutes of football & certainly do not play as a team with fight & passion. Its shocking how this has been allowed to happen but the buck stops with Coates & his merry band of yes men.

Geoff Stelling mentioned it earlier.

You would like to think we have already made all our bad decisions and we will learn from them. We are not Sunderland or their ilk. We may have a problem with players on long contracts but luckily we have rich owners who are invested in the club. I see no need for concern but, then again,in June 2017 I thought we should keep Hughes and I still thought so up until Coventry.

Hist stock was at an absolute premium. It was a no-brainer for an absolutely garbage manager.
