Tell me who you would play, Genius, to fix our attacking problems ? Crouch ? I’d play Crouch over those two any day of the week, yeah, and I’m by no means his biggest fan. Players who give a shit would come in handy right about now, not ones who don’t. Players who can move about might be even more handy than an immobile lamp post Hoofing it up to Crouch - now that’s one genial idea which will help us avoid the drop !

Due to the abysmal goal difference, even a win against Spurs (haha) won't be enough to get out of the bottom 3, and Southampton and Swansea both have a game in hand. It's looking grim indeed. A win against Spurs would be absolutely MASSIVE for us and would fundamentally change our chances of survival.

That maybe but my point was that you can't scoff at the opportunity of it because we are already passed it even making a difference. Which is what he was implying.

When has Berahino been a player who ‘can move about?’ Is it still 2014? Jese doesn’t give a shit, have you not been paying attention. Get some mobility around Crouch and it’s a better option than those two jokers will ever be.

Which is what he was implying. Not scoffing at anything just depressed by the fixture. Burnley at home will be awkward too. If somehow we are not dead in buried after Liverpool away then.... ...nah,just can't see it. However beat Spurs somehow then yes that would transform the mood.

I'd stick with yesterday's team.
I genuinely don't think Berahino would add anything to a League 1 team.

442 isn't going for it really is it? It just means playing one useless striker instead of two. It doesn't suit Shaqiri and we don't really have anyone to play on the left wing either. It just makes what little creativity we have all the easier to blot out. Absolutely. Shaqiri has to play as a number 10. We can't do that by playing 442. Bauer was great on the right of a three yesterday. Put Arnie in for Ramadan and Fuller in for Diouf and with a decent right back, then yesterday's starting XI is a top half Prem team all day long. Edwards or Zouma have to come in for Johnson, what we do about the left wing i have no idea but the answer ISN'T Jesse or Sobhi, do we try Stafylidis there? There isn't a better option than Diouf up front. Yesterday's XI was the most balanced XI that Lambert has assembled since he got here and we need to stick with the same formation until the end of the season but fuck me, he's got very, very little to actually work with. Agree, Paul, the paucity of our options is there for all to see. We pretty much have to do what we have been doing - look to keep it tight at the back (I'd start Geoff at right back personally) and try to create a platform for Shaq to pull a rabbit out of a hat to win us the game. There is not really much of an option other than that with the current squad (oh, and bringing on Crouch to lump the ball forward in his general direction late on in the hope that "something drops"). Badou and Bauer give us extra legs at least, when we usually look so old and slow compared to the young and vibrant Spurs team. They still remain light years ahead of us and, much as I will pray for a win, I simply cannot see it.

I'd have Geoff at right back, Zouma for Ryan (big call, I know) and Stafy for Ramadan. For whatever reason, Lambert seems enamoured with Johnson, and Edwards doesn't appear to be on his radar. Wouldn't argue with Cameron at RB that much. Shawcross or Zouma is a toss of a coin for me, but I'd stick with Ryan. Stafy for Ramadan? It's eye-opening to see how poor Ramadan's been recently. He's working hard, but he's been dire going the other way. Whether Stafy would be a step forward, who knows? He's probably the only alternative we've got. Starting 2 full-backs wide would be a hell of an indictment about where we find ourselves, but don't think anyone could complain too much

Show me how its impossible to still stay up, until its mathematically certain then there's still a chance, teams have been in worse positions and stayed up. keep dreaming worst defense worst stikers we screwed I'm not dreaming, the squad is a state but we're still not down yet.

To add to the tattoos I'll be getting of Scholes and Carto on my arse. I'll also have one of Mark Hughes' cunting face on my back if we manage to stay up.
Come on Stoke there's your motivation, make me look more of a twat than I already am.

A few good omens. We've lost 3 on the bounce. Spurs won 6 on the trot. Stoke won 6 all season. 6 goals in 10 games. They've scored same amount in 2 games. We've lost 4 on the trot to Spurs. Aggregate score being 1-17. We don't create chances. They do all the time. We are second bottom with no win in 5. They are 4th and unbeaten in 13. Kane will be back. We've got Berahino who hasn't scored for 57764467 mins. We are a poor team. They are very good. So a 9-0 win it is then. A 9-0 win for us it is then!

Hellu!
Yes perhaps, if we get that little luck in each of the last 7 played games or so that we haven't got then - and put all those bits of luck into this particular game at home vs Tottenham then it might, just might, go all the way, provided we got a penalty ... AND score!
Miracle 1-0

The only hope I have is that for this game we can stop the 4-0 rot of a scoreline that under Hughes we seemed to accept

Kane will get at least 3 by himself, i see he's back from Injury just in time to tear us a new one again.
Wimmer will be buzzing to see his old pals and get some selfies after the game though so its all good!!
We wont score against them never mind win.
The sooner this season ends the better, roll on next year and hopefully trips to Wednesday, Leeds, Sheff United, Forest, Derby, Birmingham, Barnsley, Brentford etc.

We ain’t got anyone can score plus we got worst defence in league think bout it tony Pulis did great job for stoke now we screwed Absolutely spot on. Tony did all the hard work, the graft, everything for this club, and Mark Hughes has absolutely shafted us upon no return. We will be without top flight football now for many years to come. Thanks Mark

You've also been a Hughes lover though since the second he joined and i guess nothing that hes done to the club will change your opinion of that.
