442 isn't going for it really is it? It just means playing one useless striker instead of two. It doesn't suit Shaqiri and we don't really have anyone to play on the left wing either. It just makes what little creativity we have all the easier to blot out. It’s trying something different mate One up front just isn’t working no matter who or what are playing in the system around it I don’t think one up front is the problem mate. Different or not, what’s two up front going to achieve other than marginalising our best player?

Not impossible, we need to take some risks, play Berahino and Croach upfront Did you watch them yesterday? And you think Berahino and Crouch can do what Morata, Hazard, Willian et al couldn't?

Different or not, what’s two up front going to achieve other than marginalising our best player? He ( I think ) played against Huddersfield in a 442 when we won mate ...good players adapt, we are too far down the road to worry about what system suits him best as he’s in the side that currently isn’t winning any football matches or even creating many chances ...although he himself is doing his utmost

Two of the biggest wasters on the books. Genius. Tell me who you would play, Genius, to fix our attacking problems ? Crouch ? I’d play Crouch over those two any day of the week, yeah, and I’m by no means his biggest fan. Players who give a shit would come in handy right about now, not ones who don’t.

He had to change it because Shaq was constantly leaving Bauer exposed.

Diouf I was just about to post this but I would swap Crouch with Jese (mainly because he has a trick or two and I haven't seen his abysmal attitude Monday-Thursday) Saying that I'd welcome Affelay back with open arms too.

A few good omens. We've lost 3 on the bounce. Spurs won 6 on the trot. Stoke won 6 all season. 6 goals in 10 games. They've scored same amount in 2 games. We've lost 4 on the trot to Spurs. Aggregate score being 1-17. We don't create chances. They do all the time. We are second bottom with no win in 5. They are 4th and unbeaten in 13. Kane will be back. We've got Berahino who hasn't scored for 57764467 mins. We are a poor team. They are very good.
So a 9-0 win it is then.

They were terrible mate no doubt but we were enthusiastic but still quite bad first half and I remember him having to tweak it.

It just makes what little creativity we have all the easier to blot out. Absolutely. Shaqiri has to play as a number 10. We can't do that by playing 442. Bauer was great on the right of a three yesterday. Put Arnie in for Ramadan and Fuller in for Diouf and with a decent right back, then yesterday's starting XI is a top half Prem team all day long. Edwards or Zouma have to come in for Johnson, what we do about the left wing i have no idea but the answer ISN'T Jesse or Sobhi, do we try Stafylidis there? There isn't a better option than Diouf up front. Yesterday's XI was the most balanced XI that Lambert has assembled since he got here and we need to stick with the same formation until the end of the season but fuck me, he's got very, very little to actually work with.

Due to the abysmal goal difference, even a win against Spurs (haha) won't be enough to get out of the bottom 3, and Southampton and Swansea both have a game in hand. It's looking grim indeed.
