Ramadan currently is a shadow of the player I used to watch but he is still better than most of the players in Stoke, hardworker with at least double effort than most of the other players, Ramadan’s experience and lost confidence in Stoke is exactly Salah’s experience in Chelsea and time will proves it. BTW I dont know if this will annoy you guys or not but Ramadan was supporting Salah yesterday in Anfeild according to Egyptian media They've tapped him up already no doubt, and Klopp will soon sort him out!

What did Shaqiri do against Arsenal? What did Diouf do against Arsenal? What did Crouch do against Arsenal? What did Berahino do against Arsenal?
They were the attacking options and they didnt make any threat Ramadan failed to make this threat too but he was LM playing in 4-4-1-1 tactics with defensive tasks, trying to help in the attack same as bauer, why on the earth he should be the cause of the loss when he was subbed when it was 1-0 and he doesnt have any role in the funny penalty given to Arsenal, did any one watch how Belliren converted into worldclass against Peiters after Ramadan has been subbed!

Somewhere in there, there's a very good footballer. Compare the way he played when he signed to how he plays now. He was rough around the edges and needed a bit of refinement, but all that our coaching seems to have done is drain the confidence out of him. I'd go so far as to say that for a young player in a foreign country, he's been treated very shabbily at times.
He'll go to another club, get properly coached and turn into a superstar. It's a pity, because he's the sort of proper winger that we've been crying out for, instead of these hopeless inside forwards.

He can do a lot worse than watch Salah, how he cuts into the penalty area from wide positions, how he finds space and his decision making when he is in the penalty area.

Credit where credits due, he was great for an hour then faded and subbed off. Going forward and battling away, closing down. Keep that effort up and you will keep your place week in week out.
Not too many turning backwards and passing backwards, well done lad.

He did well today. Had to check a couple of times when he knew he didn’t have the pace which was frustrating but nowt he can do about that I guess.....

Best game of the season from him, shame that he occasionally still runs in to blind alleys and gets the ball trapped under his feet but a million miles better than the arsenal game.

Doesn’t possess the pace or final ball to play regularly at this level I’m afraid.

Another game where his individual performance was average, but where we looked a much more cohesive attacking unit for having him in the side.
He has to start every game now.

Christ knows where these Liverpool links have come from...he’s light years away from their level I'm a big fan of Ramadan, last season he was progressing into a really good player and he showed glimpses of it earlier this season. I'm not entirely sure what went wrong but it has to be a combination of poor coaching, loss of confidence (having played well then dropped the following week). Maybe his head has been turned? I'm convinced there's a good enough player in there for us certainly in the championship. He's 21 and still has plenty of time to learn surely?

He tracks back well and regained possession for us quite well at times today. I remember his earlier performances were far more dynamic and he was beating players and getting to the bye line...it seems to be something that’s deserted him for some reason?

This was a funny little episode, wasn't it? Amazing that we bizarrely made a profit on him! (and Huddersfield didn't lose money either) I’m still adamant they coached the fun bits out of him. He cane to us and zero tactical awareness but was fun and could beat a man. He got “ injured” and came back a player who was used to block on the wing essentially.

Overcoaching can be an issue with dribblers He couldn't hit a ball very far though That needed, well coaching. Shame he looked like an exciting prospect.

Potentially an excellent footballer ruined by a club in decline. He never looked very good though. He had one trick to beat a man but was dreadfully slow, couldn’t cross and couldn’t shoot! Might look ok in Egypt but was found out against half decent full backs.
