How likely is that points deduction thing of happening? What is the clause in how they determine points being deducted from a team - and also when would it be decided? Zero chance.

They should punish this ambitious team by deducting 2 or 3 points The will meet on Monday, look at the video footage, then decide to deduct Stoke City 3 Pts. You are the best in the prediction game, I am afraid you predict this one right too

Decent results for us today. I'd take a 1-0 defeat on Monday. Not wanting to be too ambitious, but this is a real opportunity for us to get a result when our rivals did awful :-) If only we weren't playing Man City :-( At least we won't fall further behind

What a brilliant day for us and we haven't even played. West Ham have imploded at the wrong time (well right for us), Southampton are wank, Palace back in the shit, I personally think Newcastle and above are safe now, it's getting fewer teams each week and West Brom are gone now.

Can't argue with those results only a Swansea win would have improved things because it would have kept Huddersfield and their poor goal difference closer to us.
Just need Chelsea to do the business on Palace now.

Everton's win makes their game against us less crucial for them. I've no idea if that's a good thing or not.
Swansea - Huddersfield draw was best in my opinion as it keeps both closer. Similarly a Newcastle - Southampton draw would've been nice.
On the whole a great set of results though.

We spend hours second guessing who the best teams to play are and why, and lets be fair none of us really know. I expected West Hame to beat Burnley for example for the reasons that I hoped we’d beat Everton. Got to just try and enjoy the ride and hope we pull a couple of massive results out of the bag somehow....

Knowing Stoke. We will beat City. Then crumble against Everton.

Our goal difference is so bad it wouldn’t matter if we lost 1-0 or 4-0, so we have to have a go

Knowing Stoke. We will beat City. Then crumble against Everton. I'd actually take that if offered. We need one win from the two games as a minimum and that scenario would give us those crucial three points. Obviously it'd frustrate the hell out of me knowing we'd handed ourselves a golden opportunity to really put ourselves in a good position!

Having flicked around the channels a bit this afternoon I’m actually feeling marginally more positive than this time last week...
There is so much garbage in this division it’s untrue. Baggies are gone, Southampton confirmed their awfulness as exhibited against us, West Ham are in an absolute two an’ eight guv, I can’t imagine Udders 0 Swans 0 was pretty, although imo we could have done with a swans win there.
GD could actually come back into it as well, three teams are reachable within a game or two now.. just hope ManC go a bit easy on us on Monday. It’s sad to say but as posted above, 0-1 or 0-2 would actually be a decent result.

Chelsea could easily have had 6 or 7 against Palace.
We're unlikely to close the GD gap on them (especially after Monday), but could have been interesting if Chelsea had a bit more luck.

We couldn't have asked for a better set of results given we're not playing until Monday and we're playing against Man City. A few surprise wins from teams around us could have piled the pressure on and left us "cut adrift". And if we could get a point against Man City it would be HUGE!
