Agree about Imbula, he'd be a better option than Fletcher and Adam for sure. As for Bojan, off the bench maybe but if we're going to play with a #10 I'd prefer it to be Shaq in that role.

Bojan didnt even make the Alaves squad today, and they arent exactly pulling up any trees in Spain Bojan is better than what we have. They want him to leave for financial reasons. don't be a silly boy, he can't leave until the end of season.I would guess you haven't seen him play he has been awful.

Apart from the first two goals of 2018. Bloody Twitter, last time I use a stat without looking at it. It’s the first goal of 2018 though - he assisted Diouf’s vs Huddersfield? I wasn’t counting Coventry. Allen scored first in that game from a Choupo cross.

Well that's what they said in January. I saw him a couple of times and the game passed him by because they were hoofing it. Whatever your thoughts on him, and I certainly don't think he's perfect, he would at the very least add to our horrific attacking options.

Imbula I'm not arsed about. He needs a proper pre-season under a new manager. Bojan remaining on loan after January was criminal. Poor poor decision.

Come on mate you're flogging a dead horse 😉 Mate ...seriously what was to lose by bringing him back ? If he didn’t play he didn’t play but he was at least an option to the shambles we currently have going forward, he’d be no worse starting or off the bench than this fucking lot ...He’s OUR player so would of cost nothing as Alaves and he himself wanted the loan to end It’s a total farce

Or at the very least give us another option.

Forgot about Ireland, but i'd still class Shaq as a winger. A 4231 with Shaqiri Bojan Jese behind a striker (any of them) would surely help us with keeping the ball and creating. As is i'd probably put Ireland there or have a fluid 3 with Ramadan added.

Yet people still lapped it up when it suited! Ultimately though I think Bojan is a failure for us and won't come back from that. But I am surprised we didn't get him back as a warm body to help.

He's not getting any so he wants to return. He has to take some responsibility for his predicament.

But I don't think he'd make much of a difference, the bloke is a busted flush.

He's not getting any so he wants to return. He has to take some responsibility for his predicament. For me, the last time he started 3 in a row (for any team) was April 2016. That has a big effect on a player. Even ignoring that and saying he's not set the world alight, whether he's at 100% or 1% he's worth having as an option. We're not scoring so why not have all the options we can have? I don't see what we lose by trying? If he even slightly recaptured his form from before April 2016 it'd be a huge boost.

I still see Shaq's best position as on the right in a 4231 with 3 creative players behind a striker.

He's not been a success has he!? I don't think he should've been kept out of the side, and I definitely don't think he should've been sent out on loan. He was an integral part of the team that was 5 points off Champions League with 7 games to go in 2016 and then he didn't start 3+ in a row again for us. Even if you say he isn't a success, he certainly hasn't failed.
