Pieters never played under Pulis, and didn't come to the club until over a month after Pulis had left. Now I'm not certain exactly how much Pulis had to do with signing him, if anything, but referring to him as Pulis Old Guard is stretching it a bit far. H not looking for an argument but pretty sure it was confirmed that Pulis had given this one the green light prior to leaving, passing the DNA test but it's largely irrelevant. certainly wasn't a Hughes signing which was more my point

to be honest most of them, excluding the new guys and the academy the only ones I have anytime for are Ryan Pieters Cameron Allen Shaq and Diouf And 3 of them are Pulis old guard.... WOT? No time for Crouchy? Surely that one slipped your mind

Definately a bit of a negative thread this :-) But i do think it would help the club to sell / terminate the contracts of saido / wimmer / imbula... Take a massive loss... And refocus Be more positive. Have a happy ship And start again Could you explain how you sell (or terminate the contracts of) Berahino, Wimmer and Imbula? How do you sell them given the wages they are on? You could try to give them away but the "buying" club would have to find their wages (which could top £2.5 million per year for each player) for the life of the existing contract - unless either the player accepts a big wage cut or Stoke pay the difference between our wages and the wages the new club are prepared to pay. Much the same applies to terminating the contracts. You can terminate the contract of any player but only if you agree to pay him the wages he will be due until the end of his contract. That is the problem with these 3 horror signings. The £50 million we paid for them (less any fees we might get if we sell them) does NOT represent the full extent of our potential losses. Whatever wages remain outstanding on their contracts is also a potential loss to the club - less any wages a new club is prepared to pay. Unfortunately this is bang on the money, excusing the pun. Three weighty albatrosses that will be hanging around our necks for a very long time

Very few modern Premier League footballers are likeable - all Johnny Big Bollocks, 50k a week plus, totally removed from the real world, pampered and cosseted wankers. This applies to every club, not just us. Which of our players would you like to go down the pub for a beer with? Ryan, Joe maybe? Ryan? Comes across dour as fuck. Gotta be Crouchy - he'd be a laugh for sure... I'll give you Two Metre Peter, one of life's good guys......

Three weighty albatrosses that will be hanging around our necks for a very long time We will probably have to do like Leeds did when we bought Duberry, sell for a low fee and pay a part of wages for the remainder of the Stoke contract term, or we get stuck with another Palacios, hanging around the place getting paid to do nothing, or follow the Bojan model and they become serial loanees (if anyone will take them, and then probably with subsidised wages too) until their deals run out. Mahoosive fuck up whichever way it pans out, for which Teflon Tony and and the ex-Leek reserve keeper should pay with their jobs.

Your reaction shows a total lack of intelligence which is hardly surprising, more abusive language God you are thick. Not that I need validation about my mental capabilities from you anyway. Goodnight. maybe Berahino will score in your dreams on the pitch I mean.

I think Imbula is still a marketable commodity in France, whilst Wimmer's days at Cologne may see some German interest, both at a vastly reduced price of course. You'd have to say we are stuck with Saido for the foreseeable, like a 20 something kid who refuses to leave his parent's home and hangs around like a bad smell.

Does everyone else have a real dislike for many of our players? I can think of at least five. When was the last time the club had so many players that we'd prefer never to play again? Said this a long time ago with our current crop, that and not knowing our best 11 because it is so hard to pick 11 of them.... Shocking

Wimmer Imbula Berahino Fletcher
All shit signings and have damaged the club in more than one way, the Hughes legacy Welsh twat. I always think when someone, mostly you post stuff like 'welsh twat' or 'welsh cunt'. There are a few, probably more welsh stokies who post on here. Are they included in this or is it just hughes.

Great description of saido For anyone who likes stats, saido's prem stats For the last two years Mins played 2123 Shots 43 On target Shots 15 Goals 0 Basically he gets a Shot On target, once every 141 Mins and that is saveable

That is Peter Stilton as already spotted the man who asked at the park one day if he could join in our game of cricket, but only if he could bowl. We of course agreed to this request - only to find ourselves on the receiving end of a string of vicious bouncers aimed at our heads, whilst he ignored his own 2 much younger children on the swings - total twat!

Bizarre comment! jimmyg is a longstanding mate of mine (in the real world, not just behind a keyboard!) and I really do think you have him confused with someone else. He was as glad as virtually all of us to see the back of Hughes, and wished it had happened sooner, from what I can recall. Anyway, you seem to have developed a rather stalker-like attachment to me ole mucker, which amuses me somewhat, if not him!!!

As for Pulis, I'll forever be grateful for what he did and achieved at Stoke, but he outstayed his welcome by at least a season and I was happy to move on. You need to do the same thing Gifty

I can't specifically say I dislike any of our players. I don't know any of them individually, and no one in the world is perfect. While they're here I want them all to do well.
That's not to say I don't have favourites - Butland, Shawcross, Allen, Adam, Cameron, Shaqiri and a couple of others.
